OVERVIEW

Here we go with another TCCOM report. Another month just ended. This means another round of MShipE/MSE is due. Get those done ASAP, gentlemen. The promotion celebrations never end. Sub-Lieutenant stevenpowell got promoted to full Lieutenant this past week. Congratulations! May there many more promotions follow! Apparently we keep on growing. Sub-Lieutenant Nathan Cole just joined our ranks as Delta 1-2 right after finishing his training at Daedalus. Welcome aboard, Sub-Lieutenant! After weeks of discussion and a lot of work, the TCCS decided to make a major change to the Combat Rating. Over the past year, the COOP/PVE based LoS points had a heavy influence on the formerly pure PvP ranking system of the Combat Rating. BEcause of this we decided to create a new COOP/PVE based ranking system called "COOP/PVE rating". For every LoS earned a pilot will receive one point on the new COOP/PVE rating. The details for the new system, as they'll be added to the website and the TCPM are as follows: COOP/PVE rating listing TIE Corps COOP/PVE Rating is a special ranking system, similar to Fleet Commander's Honor Guard (FCHG), or the Combat Rating, that rates pilots and officers in the TIE Corps by multiplayer COOP and PVE activity and performance using a point system. Unlike the FCHG system, COOP/PVE Rating rates pilots only by multiplayer COOP/PVE activity. The COOP/PVE Rating knows the following ranking system, based on the number of points awarded: Beginner 1 point needed Qualified 10 points needed Private 4th 25 points needed Private 3rd 50 points needed Private 2nd 75 points needed Private 1st 100 points needed Gunner's mate 4th 150 points needed Gunner's mate 3rd 200 points needed Gunner's mate 2nd 250 points needed Gunner's mate 1st 300 points needed Campaigner 4th 375 points needed Campaigner 3rd 450 points needed Campaigner 2nd 525 points needed Campaigner 1st 600 points needed Ranger 4th 700 points needed Ranger 3rd 800 points needed Ranger 2nd 900 points needed Ranger 1st 1,000 points needed Master Ranger 4th 1,250 points needed Master Ranger 3rd 1,500 points needed Master Ranger 2nd 1,750 points needed Master Ranger 1st 2,000 points needed Ace Ranger 4th 2,500 points needed Ace Ranger 3rd 3,000 points needed Ace Ranger 2nd 3,500 points needed Ace Ranger 1st 4,000 points needed Top Ace Ranger [TAR] 5,000 points needed Points can be awarded for the following flight activity: every Legion of Skirmish earned 1 point The new system will go life as soon as the changes to the website/database are made. Scores on the Combat Rating and the new COOP/PVE rating for every pilot will be calculated on the basis of past LoS/LoC/DFC awards over the course of a couple of days after the system is added to the database. The TCPM will be changed accordingly within short time. Another major news this week was the announcement of Admiral Hawkins that he'd be stepping down as Combat Operations Officer by the end of October. Admiral Hawkins has been COO for over a year now. During his ToD as COO he managed the Combat Operations officer with utmost perfection. He always some good ideas how to develop the TIE Corps further and has been a great guy to have around in the TCCS. You'll leave some big shoes to fill for your successor at the helm of the Agressor, Hawk! As it has been a good tradition in the past, the actual COOA will follow up when the COO retires. So from November, 1st on, Lieutenant Colonel Silvius will be the new Combat Operations officer. With a new COO and no COOA, the soon to be COO is looking for a COOA that would start his job on November, 1st. Pilots interested in the job should send their applications to Lieutenant Colonel Silvius, ASAP!
