Tactical Officer's Opening Statement
Welcome to my second TAC report! Fortunately this time I have settled in somewhat, all I lack for now are certain admin options to be able to do high scores and upload battles by myself. No worries, it should happen soon.
At any rate, this week was good for the TAC office, the transition is going smoothly and my two projects have launched successfully. We got some new Staff members and custom battle/mission submissions and all sorts of little tasks for our new TAC.
Tactical Announcements
-Operation Ant Eater is undergoing the bug sweeping phase, LC Abel Malik is leading a group of testers to sort through the bug reports and pick the ones that are relevant and the ones that are to be ignored.
-I have a new competition released! The "Mission Creation Incentive" will last for the following three months! An IS-PR for every month is available as well as another large amount of medals! View the competitions section for details.
-TAC Database 2.0 is nearly complete. TACA/COL Mike is currently transferring everything over to the new one and working out the bugs.
-This week we welcome two new staff members, congratulations to TCSs Stuart (SWGB) and TCS Fahrer (TIE) who will be joining our Staff. Special thanks to Stuart for actually doing something about our small SWGB problem! :D
-At the moment I am covering the position of TAC, TCC:XvT, TCC:SWGB and I am STILL creating a battle as we speak. The moral of the story? I lead a real life too...and there’s always time for Creating missions and battles! Oh, and I'm looking for a new TCC:XvT, anybody with extensive XvT mission creation and correction experience contact me at once and CC VA Styles.

Tactical Projects
-Operation Ant-Eater: This is a lot like Project phoenix, the TAC staff will set out to destroy all bugs in the Mission Compendium! Phase one is under way, all the Correctors have been notified and will begin working soon!
-Frodo's Quest for more Missions!: This is my own personal quest to get mission creators to create more, I'll do anything for more assignments...This week I e-mailed about 50 mission designers and gave them the specifics about my new Mission Creation incentive! Participate at this at all costs! All platforms are good (yes, JA and SWGB) and 3 or more battles can get you a medal!
Tasks from the FC
-More missions and faster turnaround in relation to testing: My quest for more missions is still under way.
-Better attitude/interaction with the membership regarding the EHBL and in general: Well, my office is always open, I'll answer any questions you want and I'm a pretty easy going guy. The TAC office is now going to adopt a "Pilots Come First" attitude, because that has always been my attitude, and I'm not likely to change, if we can do something to help you pilots, we'll do it, its that simple.
-Revise/update/fix the Tactical Manual: My TACA, COL Mike, has completed the TAC manual, it can be

an online version can be expected really soon.
-More support relating to new platforms (Jedi outcast academy, SWGB): We have a few SWGB battles in progress, anybody interested in JA, or JO or SWGB can contact myself right away. Support is important and we need some competent staff for these new platforms. Anybody interested in a Mission Creation course for these platforms can contact me immediately and I'll make sure you get all the support you need to get me my support.
-Coordinating with training office to set up new training resources for new platforms: No TO for the moment, I'll get back to you gentlemen with this I'll talk to Drako about it and perhaps something can be done, these are also powerful recruitment tools. See above, anybody with intention to make IWATS contact me immediately.
-Restart Project Pheonix and fix any bugs in the mission compendium: Operation "ant-eater" is under way!
-Reform the TAC staff from a corps of testers to mission creators: We have quite a few TMDs already, with TAC DB 2.0 it will work. TAC DB 2.0 is so close I can smell it...
Competitions
-"Mission Creation Incentive": The pilot who submits the most battles to the TAC office in the month of January will be awarded an IS-PR, an IS-GR for second place and the same goes for February and March. You must submit at least 3 battles, and the same goes with missions, except the award for top missions is IS-GR and you must build at least 5.
-Pilot of the week competition! It has been resubmitted. The TAC reports are due on Friday's, I'd appreciate if I had TCC reports in my inbox on Thursdays guys. The pilot of the week this week is VA Stuart for taking extra initiative and doing good work as our only SWGB tester!

Frothy's Corner
Excellent Excellent Excellent! XWA mission creation seems to be
up, we got 7 assignments. Currently Ender mBind leads the mission
creation incentive with 4 battles! But don't despair, he is somewhat defeatable,
I did it in MCW :P (just hope that his internet connection dies for about a
month...Praying works ;P)
Build more battles! Flags, send the message out to the TIE
Corps, I want more battles. SGCOMs I'd love to see some SG battles out
there, I will gladly make sure that your members are rewarded, the
Incentive is for all of the Emperor's Hammer.
