LO Report # 12 (2004-11-29)

This report was submitted by VA Jeron Darkonis Astoris

There's a good reason for this one being late. I have completed the 10th anniversary schedule during this holiday weekend and I've typed it here. Also, I'll be copy and pasting that into a document which I will attach and send to the FC and XO with this mail.

Here's the break down. Keep in mind, the competition is going to preceed the RL meeting by a week because of the New Year's Holiday.

Those of you that have microphones and Microsoft Netmeeting will be able to hear your favorite CO's voices as they make their weekly annoucements. If you don't have a microphone but have netmeeting, please feel free to listen in on this revolutionary event! Further information as to server info will be given out a week prior to the meeting.

Now then... that's done with, on to other stuff.

I have the list of influential people written down in my notebook, and will be typing them up soon. Then all I have to do is to get the document ready to be added to the codex.

The other new sections to the codex, that is, the staff officer section and the most important events sections are still works in progress. I haven't quite decided on presentation yet. Although I imagine it being similar to the other sections.

As for codex updates, those are always on going and we're waiting to get the next NL to go in there.

Trido has been busy with final exams, but now has some time off, so expect a big update on the File Archive next week.

I believe that's all for this week. I hope everyone had a happy Thanksgiving if you celebrate it. Also, if you're Jewish I'll wish you an early Happy Channukah. As we approach the 10th Anniversary and the Christmas Holiday, we should all take some time to reflect on what we're thankful for. I know I'm thankful for the opportunity I was given to come back from the Most Wanted List, to the CS. Also, Grand Admiral Ronin will be making a speech on Christmas Day to sort of get the competition and other events started. He did, after all, conceive the EH on that fateful day, Dec 25th, 1994. And so we thank you old friend.
