Tactical Officer's Opening Statement
Alot was acomplished this week! Alot of work done, alot of personal effort on my part mostly, but hopefully my TAC staff will be following my example soon, *hint* *hint* *Nudge* Nudge*.
First things first, the TAC manual has been released in a FULL HTML version with a few minor changes. It can be found at: http://servelarge.no-ip.com/~frothyt/tac-man/ this is the final version for now. Feel free to browse through it or consult it for any TAC questions, I'll add it in the "important Links" section of the report.
The Iron Mission Creator Competition's first match was fought. FA Den Darkhill has defeated VA Gidda, an excellent job by him. all future matches are on the site.
I've decided to have a small flying challenge attached to the missions that are released for Iron Mission Creator! For this week the pilots of the TIE Corps must fly XvT Free 181! The pilot who holds the High Score on Sunday will win the IS-BW or IS-SW should there be enough participation!

As you can see, quite a few retired members got some, so we haven't forgotten...it just took a while.
I haven't forgotten about Operation AntEater either, this week 13 bugged battles were updated, 12 XvT, 1 XWA. Only 2 of these weren't valid bugs so you might have guessed that I've had alot of correcting action. There currently remains only 19 bugged battles for XvT for me to correct.
Tactical Announcements
-XvT Free 181 and TIE Free 251 were released this week!
-Operation Ant Eater continues! 13 bugs corrected this week!
-There are currently NO TAC STAFF OPENINGS.
-The IRON MISSION CREATOR Competition is under way! Sunday's Match is between CM Brukhar and CM Daar Skeloria!
Tactical Projects
-Operation Ant Eater: This is a lot like Project phoenix, the TAC staff will set out to destroy all bugs in the Mission Compendium! We now have some progress, more details here.
-Frodo's Quest for More Missions: This is my own personal quest to get mission creators to create more, I used quite a few means, mainly by competition and by posting news items that could help people start creating missions. We have alot of custom made battles and missions on the TACDB and they're swarming in. BUILD MORE!
Tactical Tasks
-More missions and faster turnaround in relation to testing: Testings is going according to plan, we have over 30 assignements strong, so naturally we can't expect top speed, but we're doing the best we can. Expect Tactical Position openings soon.
-More support relating to new platforms (Jedi outcast academy, SWGB): SWGB now has 2 active Tacticians and many, many testers, we are ready to deal with SWGB bugs and the number of battles on the compendium has increased drastically. If anybody would like to be JA staff, please contact me as soon as possible.
-Coordinating with training office to set up new training resources for new platforms: The SWGB course is there. Gimme some time on this JA stuff.
-Restart Project Pheonix and fix any bugs in the mission compendium: Operation "anteater" is...well under way!
Competitions
-Iron Mission Creator: Every week end there will be matches between mission creators to see which can build the best free mission for a designated plotline within 2 hours! More details here.
-Pilot of the Week Competition: Yes, Last week I forgot to update it, the pilot of the week was COL Abel Malik who won for the month of March. Now the comp starts over and the TAC office pilot of the week is...Me...since I wasn't impressed by quite a few testers, however some still maintain their regular standards.
