Tactical Officer's Opening Statement
Wow! Thats all I could say for this week's activity. Now I'm not trying to flatter myself but I really let the lead out when it comes to bugs, and advancements in TIE mission creation.
Advancements you say? Why yes I answer! I learned TIE mission creation this week and submitted two free missions. Therefore, I can now correct TIE bugs at my whim. Also, this week I managed to correct and or validate 25 bugs for XvT/BoP and one for TIE. As a result we now have no more bugs remaining for the Balance of Power platform and for all XvT Free's.
More XWA bug reports arose this week therefore XWA progress has unfortunately went down. Some pilots get picky with bugs, thats not a problem since we'll happily correct.
This week I also started a new standard for Bugs! As of now whenever I remove your bug reports from the database you will receive E-mail notification notifying you of the fix or that your bug report was unecessary. I invite you to look into what we corrected and I invite you to e-mail me right away if you believe that your unecessary bug report was absolutely true.
This week I fired some staff and we hired RA Locke for more of an XW purpose. Yay. Also quite a few missions and battles were released, not as many as I wanted, but we had to settle for 5.
Any and all medals for battles and missions that aren't received in a timely manner are the result of the lack of ops...Don't worry, they were recommended.
Some great news about TAC DB 1.0, it is now empty of XWA and all the other platforms no longer need testers or correctors, therefore TAC DB 1.0 only requires attention from Master and I so I have transfered Beta points to TAC DB 2.0 and hereby declare that all Testers and Tacticians need not work with TAC DB 1.0! Hurrah!

-XWA TC 44, XWA TC 45 and XvT Free 177, XvT Free 178, XvT Free 179 were released this week!
-Operation Ant Eater continues! BoP bugs no longer exist!
-I need TMDs and TCTs for TIE and XWA Send applications to myself and Master.
-TAC DB 1.0 no longer requires testers or tacticians!
-Deleted Bug reports are now answered with an e-mail notification!
-Welcome RA Locke to the TAC staff!
Tactical Projects
-Operation Ant Eater:This is a lot like Project phoenix, the TAC staff will set out to destroy all bugs in the Mission Compendium! We now have some progress, more details here.
-Frodo's Quest for More Missions:This is my own personal quest to get mission creators to create more, currently mission creation is waaaay up, therefore I will perhaps tone down on this project.
Tactical Tasks
-More missions and faster turnaround in relation to testing: Testings is getting quicker and quicker, and our TAC DB is getting fuller and fuller. A few months ago we had something like 10 assignements total, now that number has tripled.
-More support relating to new platforms (Jedi outcast academy, SWGB): The SWGB test is almost ready. The SWGB battles are also almost ready. I shall now move towards Jedi Outcast and Academy to further support in our staff for those platforms, however, expect this to be a slower progress then some.
-Coordinating with training office to set up new training resources for new platforms: SWGB training resources are up, JA and JO will follow suit.
-Restart Project Pheonix and fix any bugs in the mission compendium: Operation "ant-eater" is under way!
-Reform the TAC staff from a corps of testers to mission creators: TMD list has been rebooted! It now contains one person.
Competitions
-Mission Creation Incentive: The pilot who submits the most battles to the TAC office in the month of January will be awarded an IS-PR, an IS-GR for second place and the same goes for February and March. You must submit at least 3 battles, and the same goes with missions, except the award for top missions is IS-GR and you must build at least 5. March is well under way! LC Ric Taldrya leads comfortably with 3 battles. Nobody has built 5 frees yet.
-Pilot of the Week Competition: The pilot of the week this week is COL Abel Malik! Standings for March are: Aft 1, Ric 1, Malik 1. The race is tight.

Frothy's Corner
Some excellent progress this week. I can only hope for just as good next week and I'm certain that we'll see it. Expect a couple of new competitions next month since my mission creation incentive will soon end. Expect some lovely mission creation competitions in addition to perhaps something everybody can participate in. Something Tactical of course.
