A little bit of news this week, lets get down to buisness.
First off myself and RA Darknyte finally recieved a responce from TheForce.net. They cannot put up a EH board on thier MB Forum. Ill give thier email responce below.
**I'm writing to say we don't think we can do this, and to let you know why.
Our forums are moderated by an arms length group of people in a way that works great for us but also empowers them a bit of control over what happens in the forums. As such, we would not be comfortable with asking them to create a particular special interest group.
We are currently in a redesign phase, and hopefully we'll end up with a good links page we can add you to.

I would like to take the time now to thank RA Darknyte for his large role in the talks with TF.net. His quick responce time and attitude is largely responsible TF.net linking us on thier webpage. Great work DN!
Some of you may remember a small poll I posted on the MBs, asking members what would they like to see the most from the Recon Office. The choices were, Interviews, Honorary Members, Article Mentions, Convention infromration. The results were that the general members ( or atleast those who participated) wanted to see the EH in more Article Mentions, with Honorary Members a close 2nd. So for the time being, I will be trying to steer my CA and my ROAs in those two directions.
If its okay with Ronin and Ast, I'd like to post that poll again on alot of the other main MBs on our forum, so I can get a more dispersed reaction from the entire fleet. The more I know what the members want, the more accuratel I can provide for them. :)
CA:RO Mage is sending out a new batch of emails this week, Kenny Baker (R2-D2) is one of the targets this time around, as well as Penny Arcade again. Let's hope he hits his mark. :P
Mage is also working his own recruitment idea at his college (Granted Spring Break isnt the best time to start recruiting, but you never know..). I will be providing more information on that in the coming weeks and months as it becomes fully active. If it works, it will should be a very productive project!
