Actually got a report on time this week, basically because I'm getting ready to go on leave for a few days. Since it has been only three days since my last report not much has went on. But I have been able to find a few things of worth.

DATech has been bumped up to version 0.72b, with a few new features. The biggest addition is a utility called Mapicon, this will allow you to have the correct ship picture showing in a mission briefing. The XP Batch Installer is still delayed, I am still trying to track down an elusive parsing bug. I was planning on squashing the last bugs this weekend but this forced leave is not going to allow me to do so. Rest assured this is on the top of my to do list and will be finished very shorty.

A little side project that cropped up this week is the ability to have custom wavs in briefings. Its been known for sometime that all of the briefings are read off the CD. But an anonymous source has found a way for the briefings to be read off the hard drive. The only problem is the whole \Wave directory must be moved to the hard drive (~70MB) to still have briefings for all missions. Hopefully we can find a way for the game to look at the hard drive and CD for briefings. I'll post more details here when they become available.
