1. 2,000 missions in the Mission Compendium
327 Battles, 300 Free Missions, for a total of 2,000 missions online. It is a major milestone for the Tactical Office and the Emperor's Hammer as a whole; our compendium is the largest resource of custom missions for X-wing, TIE Fighter, Xwing vs TIE Fighter and X-Wing Alliance available on internet, and a major asset for the development of our club. I joined this club because of its large amount of custom missions available, and I am proud today to be able to give my best to make our compendium even larger, even better in quality. I would like to thank the whole Tactical Staff, past and present, for their hard work and dedication, and especially my Tactical Coordinators, Captain Gord Darkonian, Captain Drako and of course Rear Admiral Marcin Szydlowski. I don't think we would have reached such a result without a team work. I am very proud of the state of the Tactical Office nowadays. To celebrate this event, I created a little XWA free mission, "TAC2K", which happens to be the 2000th mission released... enjoy !
2. FCHG Creation Contest #2
Deadline December 15th - http://www.tiecorps.org/tac/fchg.html. I haven't received yet a submission, I guess you people will be correcting your creation to perfection until the last day ;)
3. EH Timeline - Ticket to Chimaera Released
One of my latest XWA battles has been released, Ticket to Chimaera. This battle can be considered as the first piece of the future extended EH timeline, and should have been the competition battle for the LO competition planned last August... basic plotline by AD Ramos, enhanced and adapted to XWA by yours truly. Can be a good challenge to fly those old rusty unshielded T/Fs and T/Is :)
4. ECR Competition judged
I judged the custom mission submissions for Phase 3 of the ECR Battlegroup Competition, accordingly to the scoring methods which will be used for the FCHG Contest. VA Mell sent me the top 3 best missions of each ship, all of these were of higher quality and the competition has been very close; quite all of them have been released in the COmpendium. If you make a custom mission for this competition, which was not in the Top 3 of your ship, and which meets the standard requirements for custom EH missions, feel free to submit it to the Tactical Office for review, in following the standard procedures stated in the Tactical Manual.
