***Reconnaissance Officer Anniversary Report***
Well, to this date, February 2nd, I've been Reconnaissance Officer for one year. The time just flys by! Well, I'm happy to say that there is a lot of good stuff in this report! :)
***Conventions Commission Created (CC) ***
This was a new idea that I was working on for a few months now. It was brought to me by a member of the Inperial Survey Corps, I believe, but I'm sorry to say I can't remember who.
Anyway, what the CC does is we will have representatives from the Emperor's Hammer, who has a desire to go to Star Wars conventions and represent us. They could set up a booth and talk to Star Wars fans and other people who are at the very same convention. I personally, think that this would be a good way to get more people to know about the Emperor's Hammer.
I think I should mention this now, just to let everyone know. The hardest problem about this will be having members finding conventions, because I know sometimes they maybe not be highly advertised.
The way I plan for the CC to be set up will be simple. A member of the Emperor's Hammer - and all subgroups - can e-mail me an say what major city they are closest to. Each city will have two representatives - perhaps more depending on the size of the city. My reasoning for two representatives is simple. If one can't make it to the convention or has something that pulls him out of it at the last minute, perhaps the second representative will be able to take his place. My other reason is that sometimes it's two people may want to represent the EH in their city.
