1. More and more XvT missions

Once again, several new XvT battles have been released... and in the meantime a lot of new ones have been submitted as well ! I guess it will give some more work to TCC:XvT/CPT Drako, who is back from leave. Actually these days I receive quite only XvT submissions..."O TIE&XWA mission creators, where art thou ?"

2. And XWA...

A couple of XWA battles are waiting in my mailbox for a final playtesting ! These should be released any time soon... btw, if you want more XWA battles, well just learn how to design some ! There is a nice course at http://www.tiecorps.org/tac/xam, and I heard the author was quite skilled in this domain ;-)...

3. A new TACA sought

I am currently looking for an Assistant, his/her job will be to search the web for new stuff concerning mission creation as a whole (new tips, new editors available etc). Some additional tasks could be to check the several TAC related sites (like the Tactical Manual) for dead links, mistakes etc. There is no other requirement for the position than to be quite active and be able to provide weekly or biweekly report of what you have spotted... some basic notion in mission creation is definitively an asset to do such a work though ;)

4. Tactical Staff Database

Here is a public offer to design a working and reliable database to help the work of the Tactical Staff, a Gold Star will be handled for a working one. We are currently in need of a small database to handle Beta assignments, Beta reports and battles status, which might in the future be integrated to the main Battle Center. Such a database would allow the following:

• Tactical Staff Roster, with for members of the TAC Staff (TCS,TCT,TCC,TCHC,TAC): name,email,PIN if available,current position,TIE/XvT/XWA staff,current assignment, work done, number of beta points, (link to tc.org profile?)
• Display of battles submitted with their status (in queue, under testing, under correction, final check, released, rejected), their author (name,email,PIN if available), people assigned to this battle (name,email,PIN), download location (they would be uploaded in a subfolder of my tiecorps.org FTP account)
• Admin section for TCS and higher: submit beta reports online.
• Admin section for TCC,TCHC and higher: allow them to make Beta Assignments (testing/correction) and give Beta points on completion.
• Admin section for TAC: add new "beta" battles and free missions.

5. X-wing Alliance and XWAU

The use of XWAU OPTs is tolerated, as it doesn't modify the game balance as far as I know (if it happens to modify ANYTHING which could make easier the mission or raise your score then their use will be forbidden). However it has come to my attention some custom missions may not work well with such patches; in this case, you are not permitted to skip these "buggy" missions and gain credit for these missions, you will have to desinstall these patches and run XWA properly.

6. Prelude to Andevia

The deadline of this fleet-wide competition is March 7th ! Be sure to enter the competition, which offers a great variety of things to do ! The SP flying part is only a battle long, and the battles chosen are the best of each types ;)

7. XWA Campaign: Secrets and Lies

My little "baby" for the time being... I am currently planning and making the sequel to XWA-TC#17, which should be a couple of XWA CAB Battles... I will be looking for someone skilled in writing composition to write good debriefings/briefings stories for the missions, check the spelling/grammar of the ingame messages and give me a hand with the consistency of the story. I don't have much time right now to focus on this, but already 2 missions are done... if you liked XWA-TC#17, have some knowledge of XWA, good writing skills and want to help me, drop me a line.
