Welcome to the fifth Science Office report under my command. There has been a good deal of activity here in the Science Office this past week. But also a major set back, as you all should know by now emperorshammer.ca has shut down. Along with this the SCO webpage is down, and more importantly the Fleet Manual is also down. Numerous possibilities are being looked at to at least get the Fleet Manual back online, which needs PHP support to work properly. I have some space set aside for the patch archive and its in the process of being uploaded. Hopefully a unified Science Office site can be put online in the very near future. Also with the closing of emperorshammer.ca my old email is no longer available, I can now be reached at darkhill@ehnet.org.

Fleet Manual: All of the ships have now been added to the database that sits on my harddrive. And about 80% of the pictures are done, with the rest probably being completed within the day. Now comes the compiling of complete descriptions and complete stats for all the games a particular craft appears in.

Patch Archive: X-W/TIE versions of the I-7 Howlrunner have been completed, with models for the TIE95/Xwing95 variants. Also of note, the TIE version uses one of the unused slots, so this patch can be used without sacrificing any of the original craft. As soon as the temp patch archive is up and running these will be available for download.

New Program: A new program to edit craft strings in the TIE series has been completed. A long neglected part of TIE slicing, this will allow the in mission strings on craft to be of variable length. This can be seen in the new Howlrunner patch for TIE.
