Tactical Officer's Report #18

New Stuff:
No new stuff this week folks, the new Tactical Staff layout began it's first period (TACSTAFF Period 27) this week. Good luck to them!

Competition!
Yes, some of you have heard, the Tactical Office is hereby announcing the start of a Fleet Wide FCHG Battle Creation Competition! Though officially the competition begins June 29th, I am releasing the details now, so that the construction people can get started!

FCHG Competition Guidelines

Any EH member may participate and may create up to 4 battles (one per platform). Members are welcome to team up and create battles as a group.
Simply state the author(s) in the readme file.

All battles must be 4-8 missions in length. That is pretty much the only requirement for the battles, though those battles which follow the guidelines in the TAC manual will be favored, of course.

NOTE:FCHG Battles' plots should be (if possible) centered on the FC (More so than just "the FC wants to take over this system, etc), however, a plot of this type is NOT NECESSARY.

Judging will be done by officers selected by the TAC office. Originality, playability, technical merit, and plotline all will contribute equally to the overall score.

Awards:
3rd place per platform: IS-BR
2nd place per platform: IS-SR
1st place per platform: IS-PR AND the addition to the mission compendium as a FCHG battle.
(If More than 1 author is given for a battle, then all will receive ribbons, within reason. The entirity of a squad (7-12 members) will not receive ribbons. If more than 6 persons are used to author a battle, only the CREATORS of the battle (People who MADE the missions) will be given awards.)

The competition will run until July 29. All submissions should be sent to FA Starlion (tac@emperorshammer.org) and cc'ed to VA Arso Slyth (Arsolimese@aol.com) and VA Troutrooper (troutrooper@yahoo.com) with the subject "TAC FCHG Comp". All Submissions are DUE by MIDNIGHT EST, July 29th.

All submissions will be entered into Beta Testing Procedures for addition to the Mission Compendium, providing they meet TAC Standard Requirements.
However, ONLY the Winning submission from each catagory will be placed in the FCHG Battle group.
