LO Report # 10 (2001-04-14)

This report was submitted by VA Ramos Kanzco

LO Announcements

  1. Emperor's Hammer Codex- The Logistics Officer has been charged with maintaining and updating the EH Codex. Some new sections that will be added will be GOE, IC, and OoR recipients along with Current and retired ADs. The list of updated officers has been posted on the site at www.emperorshammer.ca/codex for the mean time.

  2. EH Polling Center- The Former Poll Master INQ/FA Manesh has given the polling center responsibilities back over to the EH Logistics Office. This has been approved by the Grand Admiral. COL Matir and my CA VA Ian are working hard on integrating this into the Logistics Office Site. Expect the EH Statistics Suite up soon.

  3. The Imperial Historical Society has begun training its members so we can begin analysis of EH History. Anyone interested in helping out with this, we still have spots open. Check out the page apn.dhs.org/~ramos/ca or msg VAGoatham.

  4. The Mr./Miss EH Competition has been dead for about two weeks now. Along with Manesh giving us the Polling Center he has given us the Mr./Miss. EH Contest as well. From now on we will be running the contest. The site will be up shortly. From now on I will be the acting Pollmaster however I am going to be appointing a new one soon so it does not take up with all my duties, anyone interested email me or msg me. Lo@emperorshammer.org

  5. LOA CPT Ranthier Khaen has done great work on the Project Sentinel NL Submissions for this month. If you would like to help him collect SW news and get rewarded at the same time as learning something about star wars, contact him @ khaen@gmx.co.uk.

  6. The Logistics Office Website/Integrated Database should be up ASAP as we have people working on it around the clock with the MySQL and PHP3 Interfacing. It will be a rough beta version, but we will seek coders to help us out with this in the future. One goal of mine is to get an experienced team of EH Coders to build this site as a portal to EH and Star Wars Information all over the Net and the Vast EH Network of sites. Sort of like being made by the people for the people.

  7. The IHS has been going well this week, and we've had quite a few new developments. Firstly the membership has risen slightly so hopefully we'll be able to start some projects in the committees soon. For this reason i'm going to do a 'crash course' in history compiling for the IHS so anybody sketchy on the details can learn it quickly, and to allow it to be redone easily, this should be within the next 2 weeks hopefully. We've also emailed some veteran officers in order that they should be able to assist us as Historians, or Historical Advisors, Historical Advisors have been created primarily for this basis. They will serve as recognised history sources whom members of the IHS may go to in order to gather past information, so they are a sub form of fleet historians basically. Thats all for this week, if things keep going they way they are, by next week things should looking very interesting :)

Thanks,

LO/VA Ramos
