1. Fleet Manual: Data entry is proceeding, slower than I'd like due to the approach of a mid semester break and an influx of assignments. In order to speed things up both now and into the future, I'm looking at taking on some casual help for description writing.
I'm looking for a couple of people who can look over a variety of material on a ship (stats, descriptions from several sources) and write a couple of paragraphs giving some background info on the ship in a consistent style. The ability to accurately keep track of references used is also required. Literacy skills and access to printed reference books (essential guides, sourcebooks etc.) are a plus. 2. SCO Site update: I've added a news archive to the SCO web page. Now all news back to the DB reset can be viewed without manually setting the days to view to some huge number.
3. SCO Site Scripts: As a part of a side project I've been rewriting many of the scripts I've created for the SCO web page to remove most specific references and be a little more organised and commented. The result is a simple, ready to use library for adding access level controlled staff/position, news & new archive and link listings, with some more functions to come as time progresses. The first public release should be available by next week.
