Tactical Report 17
"Uber-Packed Report".

Not much formality in this report i'm afraid, because i'm tackling this in the order it comes to my head. So...

1. Where's the TAC?
The TAC's PC has been extremely annoying, and after several reinstalls of the Hard Drive (Thankfully, my TAC stuff is backed up), i'm now back online and working again ;P

2. What happened to Report 16?
Report 16 (released quite awhile ago) was Command-Staff Only. So nyeah. :P

3. So what's so Uber-Packed about this report?
Well. The number of battles have been slowly climbing in my Inbox, and i'm now ready to release the following battles to the fleet.

TC-TIE 173 "The Job of Zeta Squadron"
TC-TIE 174 "Jaeger"
TC-TIE 175 "Escape From Coruscant"
TC-XWA 15 "Nasty Surprise"
F-TIE 157 "Crammed with Walnuts" (NOTE: This battle has incited an inquiry into the creator's sanity. ;)
F-XWA 26 "Lost in Space"

Next, The Tactical Staff has been completely re-formed. Following a more streamlined "squadron rotation" system to beta test and correct battles. The Job Descriptions for the TCC's, TCT's and TCS's have changed, and now read as follows:

  • All Positions:
    • Must be a member in good standing (no un-cleared HCI charges/convictions)
    • Must be able to fly 1+ battle(s) per two weeks.

  • Tactical Coordinator (TCC)
    • "Commander" of one of the three Tactical Staff "squadrons".
    • Must be able to Correct and Fly his/her selected platform (TCC:XWA needs XWA, etc).
    • Must be able to receive reports from the TCT's, and compile them to be sent on to the TCHC.
    • Must be able to re-fly corrected battles to ensure the completeness of the corrections BEFORE the battle is passed on to the TCHC.
    • Must be able to complete assignment in respectable amount of time.

  • Tactician (TCT)
    • "Member" of one of the three Tactical Staff "Squadrons".
    • Must have PASSED the IWATS Mission Creation Course for their platform, if available.
    • Must be able to fly AND correct the platform they selected.
    • Must be able to submit a report on assigned battle on time.

  • Tactical Surveyor (TCS)
    • "Member" of a 3-person team assigned to pre-scan all battles submitted to the Tactical Office.
    • "Pre-scan" is defined as ensuring the battle meets minimum Mission Compendium Requirements, without flying. (LFD files, Readme's, plotlines, etc).
NOTE: This Position is NOT currently in use, and is NOT open to application. As of the writing of this report, the Tactical Staff needs 1 XvT Tactician. If you feel you can accept this job, please email myself (colstarlion@hotmail.com) and Vice Admiral Troutrooper (troutrooper@yahoo.com) with the subject "I want to be a Uber-Stuffer". That way we know you actually read the report :P Those not selected will be placed on a list, for future positions.

Woo...next point!
Tactical Database - A New Code.
Ok, so my title sucks. However, the Tactical Office and Tactical Staff are pleased to unveil the Tactical Database, where members of the fleet can go to check the status of your submitted battle. The database will be completely full by the end of the week, as myself and Troutrooper will be inputing the battles. The Tactical Officer would like to thank the creator of this site for his hard work!

The Tactical Database can be found at: Oops. I forgot the address...help! (URL Omitted until it can be found)

Finally, Other Stuffs
Yes, i know, i'm behind (again) on BSF's and Problems and things. If you dont see your perticular problem/BSF cleared by Friday, let me know via THIS ADDRESS: starlion@hutley.com , with THIS SUBJECT: TAC Problem . NO OTHER EMAILS WILL BE ACCEPTED! :P

And...
TACTICAL REVIEW
I tried this the first time...and noone sent anything. So i'm going to assume i'm doing a fantastic job. Seriously though, if you can think of something that i'm doing wrong, or you think should be improved, email it to the TAC (starlion@hutley.com) with the subject "Tactical Review" (Again, ONLY that subject will be accepted :P).

Credits
Give credit where credit is due....i owe a lot (and i mean a lot!) of the great stuff this Office has done to my CA's; Troutrooper, Arso, you guys make this office tick, and i couldnt do it without you. (At least, not very well!)

That's it...the end...Uber-Packed? Maybe. Maybe not. Your decision.
