ANY pilot will be able to vote in each categories, choosing from the nominees. The TIE Corps Polling System of emperorshammer.net will be used to collect the votes, so people can only vote once. There may several rounds for some categories if there are more than two nominees, final decision by the Tactical Officer.

The winning battles and free missions will have the awards added to their profiles. I am currently looking for people with graphic skills to design the several awards. If you are interested, contact the Tactical Officer Fleet Admiral Striker. There will be of course a reward...

2. Hammer's Pride Competition concluded

The results should be released soon. I'm pretty disappointed by the lack of participation, looks like people are scared to compete against people like Drake, RogueWing or myself... too bad, there were easy medals to get there.

3. BSFs

A reminder to Squadron Commanders. You are responsible of the pilot files you submit and must check those files ! When someone submit a BSF for a XWa battle instead of a XvT battle, I wonder if the pilot file has ever been looked at. If the pilot has skipped a mission the BSF will be either denied or removed later from the pilot file profile if it is automatically accepted by the database. It is just a waste of time for you and myself, so check those files. In addition, when a BSF is audited, you have a week to answer the email with the zipped pilot file (you just have to *read* what's written in the audit emails). Failure to do so will result in the BSF being denied. Just another waste of time.

4. FCHG Battle Creation Contest #3

The third edition should begin around June 15th, and should last until August 5th. As usual, best submissions will become FCHG Battles. Generic plotlines for the competition will be decided soon.

5. XWA and ship patches

It is not compulsory to remove official XWA custom ship patches after you played a custom battle. These patches install custom ships in a specific slot and do not interfere with regular crafts, so are not a problem with other custom battles which don't require them. In addition, XWAUP upgrades are tolerated, but it may slow down your computer or even crash XWA if there are too much extended graphical details. And don't even think of MP games with XWAUP.

See you next week !
