***RO On Leave***
I'll be taking a short leave this week and going down to Delaware for a nice, calm, vacation. I'll be gone from Thursday, May 16 - Sunday, May 19. During my absence, CA:RO Aylius Khan will be in command of the Recon Office. If you have any questions during my leave, please send them to him and CC it to me as well. :)
***EH Baby Competition***
This will be the longest Recon Office Comp to date. I'm not sure if we need all this time, but I'm giving a few extra weeks just to that we do. :)
The competition is called: The Cutest EH Baby Competition. This parallels the Mr/Miss EH Comp. In this comp, we want to find out who is is cutest EH baby. I'll try to break this comp down by the three month timespan. :)
Month 1:
Photos submitted for three weeks
Last week, they will be posted on the RO page for view, and in preparation for the voting to begin.
Submissions being taken until May 30, 2002
Month 2:
Rounds of voting will begin. Most likely one round per week, or perhaps every two weeks, depending on how many votes we get, as well as the amount of pictures
Month 3:
Voting comtinues until there are a Cutest EH Boy and Girl. Which will be announced later that month.
Rules:
You must submit a picture of yourself as a child, from 0 - 6 years old. Please try to select a clear picture so it is easy to view. Try to keep your submissions to just one, only one will be accepted. Also, please send them in .jpg or .gif. And include your full ID line. Thank you! :)
The voting will be done by the members of the Emperor's Hammer...
Full Competition Dates:
BEGINNING: 4.27.2002
ENDING: 7.27.2002
Awards:
The cutest EH Boy and cutest EH Girl will both be awarded a IS-GR and given a title.

***Star Wars Celebration II, Report***
Greetings! First off, I have to say this was the best day of my life. I have never met so many people who love star wars as much, or in many cases more than myself, which borders on insane, but oh well.
There was a huge ammount of fans there. The members of the 501st in thier costumes were fantastic! I have never had so much fun and seen so much stuff in my life. I sat in on an interview session with Anthony Daniels as host for the man who played Jango Fett and the younger Boba Fett and also for Hayden Christensen as well. Then after that, I devoted most of my time there for the Emperors Hammer. I had only one day, so I used it well. Now to the juicy part of the letter..
After spending about $60 for autographs and talking to two actors to which i didnt have the money to get autographs for, I have four, yes count them 4 possible new Honorary Members for the EH!! Each of the following actress/actor i asked to become a Honorary Member of the EH. I explained who we are and what we do. Each one said yes, but ofcourse, I will follow up in a few emails to confirm, but it looks 100% sure!! Okay First up.. Michonne Bourriague who ofcourse plays Aura Sing. I DO have an autographed picture to the Emperor's Hammer with that, AND its Authenticated :P I also have a private email address to which to contact her to finalize the deal.
Next is Mary Oyaya who plays Jedi Master Luminara Unduli. She is one I didnt have the money to get an autograph from, but she did say yes none the less. I have a private email to contact her to also finalize her Honorary Membership :)
Bonnie Maree Piesse is the next actress who said she would be an Honorary Member! :) I have an autographed photo of her as well. And the photo graph IS to the EH too :)
And last but not least.. Wes Janson! Yup, Ian Liston said he would also like to become an Honorary Member as well! Unfortunately, he is the other actor I didnt have the money to purchase an autograph picture from.
As you can see, even though I was only there for one day, I made sure the EH got some good stuff for it! I will be contacting all of thease people later in the week. They indicated that they obviously were busy this weekend and will be winding down for a few days. So I will probably email them thursday or so. I will be scanning the autographed pictures to the EH tomorow.. err later today to send to you for the Domain.
I hope your please with the photos, I will try and get some pictures developed from my own camera as well later. Anyways, Celebration 2 was a HIT! Best money I ever spent.
On a side note, I was very very displeased about EH representation there. Rooms 208 and 209 of the convention center were set aside for fan orginizations, but alas no EH booth. There were probably many EH people there but no one could meet due to no place to go TO meet. RO, sir, I thought we were supposed to have a booth there. Also, who was supposed to show up as well? I was looking forward to meeting other EH members there as well. Anyways, I guess in 3 years we can do it better :)

In German, but nice page and on the Imperial side. As their platform
is (or better: will be) SW Galaxies, they are still at the very
beginning and how long they will survive can't be said. But as I said
before, looks quite good.
