***An Afternoon with Matt Busch***
On Saturday, August 31 at 1 PM EST, the Emperor's Hammer was honored to welcome Star Wars artist and honorary member, Matt Busch, to a special chat session on IRC. This is the second in the SW/EH Interview (Project Cordial) series. And I must say, it is by far the best! There were great questions by our members, and excellent conduct! :) If you missed the interview, you really missed a great thing! It was a blast! :)

***Honorary Member Ranks***
GA Ronin suggested that a set of honorary rank be created for our honorary members. I have taken the time, and created the following ranks/levels for such that purpose. Over time, when new activities become possible, more ranks will be added. :)
*1st Level - Honorary Lieutenant - Base rank for becoming an Honorary Member of the Emperor's Hammer.
*2nd Level - Honorary Commander - Rank achieved after an e-mail interview is received.
*3rd Level - Honorary Major - Rank achieved after an autograph is received.
*4th Level - Honorary General - Rank achieved after an SW/EH Interview Internet Relay Chat (IRC) is conducted.
*5th Level - Honorary Admiral - Rank achieved after the completion of all 4 levels.
Honorary Members are encouraged to proceed from level to level, mainly because it is increasing more difficult to make time for each.

***Emperor's Hammer Movie***
I have continued writing the EH Movie. It is taking a little more time than I thought, but not by much. I have been crosschecking information I'm writing with information from my Star Wars reference books as well as my encyclopedia. I'm hoping to complete chapter 1 - with a lot of history and background - within the next week. :)

Joe has reported to me that he will be unable to get online for the next few days. He said he should be able to get access soon.

Currently, the new webmaster, Loor, and ROA Keldorn are working to update the RO site. New news will be posted. :)
***Conventions Database***
Planning has begun for the database. CA:RO Joe will be working with Zsinj to produce what Joe claims to be, a great help for all EH Convention goers. More new will be released later! :)
***EH Baby Competition***
Cutest EH Baby for 2002: Fleet Admiral Aiden Cantor Karias
Again, congratulations to Aiden Cantor Karias as well as everyone who submitted a picture!
Fleet Admiral Aiden Cantor Karias, has been awarded an IS-GR and may add the title "Cutest EH Baby, 2002" to his ID line. :)
With the change to the competition still under review, I can't award the 2nd and 3rd runner's up. When it is approved, you'll get your medals. :)
***SW:CON 2002***
Taking place in Hamburg, North Germany this will be - from what it seems - the European version of Star Wars Celebration II. :)
The convention will be held from Nov 29th - Dec 1st 2002. If you are interested in becoming an Official Representative of the Emperor's Hammer, please e-mail High Admiral Keiran Idanian. Also, please CC that e-mail to our current organizer for the convention, Rear Admiral Jan Wemmel.
