***Death of Aylius Khan, former CA:RO***
It is never easy saying goodbye to a friend. It is always a surprise when someone passes away, but we know that is the way of things. It comes even more as a shock when we learn that it is someone from the Emperor's Hammer. Granted, with so many members, we should know it is inevitable, but still it is hard.
We have just learned, that weeks ago Lt. Colonel Aylius Khan died in a plan accident. Aylius "Judge" Khan, a former-ROA and CA:RO, was a great help in the early stages of the Reconnaissance Office. I must say, that without him, I'm not sure if I would have ever caught on to the jobs of this office as quickly.
I was very sad to hear of his death. Aylius was a good and loyal friend. He was a great help to the Reconnaissance Office, and I know he was a great help and friend to all who known him.
Rest in peace, my friend.... I hope you know, that without you helping me when I became RO, things may not have been the same as they are today.

***Second Annual Halloween Banner Prank Competition***
I know Halloween has come and gone, and sadly the database was down at that time to I couldn't get this competition approved. I have recently got it approved by the Training Officer, so thus begins the Second Annual Halloween Banner Prank Competition.

Greetings! I thought I would send half my report now, and half after I get ahold of AD Zsinj to find out whats up with the Database... hopefully.
What I am sending you are three of the pictures of when I was at Celebration 2. The first is me with Mara Jade (aka Shannon Baksa) .. you may drool now.. :P
The second is me posing with Aura Sing (aka Ms. Bourringae (sp?))... what you cant see is her arm around me.. but trust me, its there ;P
The third picture is one of our Honorary Members, Michael Sherad and ( i think) his daughter. The fourth picture is of a stormtrooper I happened to come across to the right of the main entrance into Celebration 2. It was late in the day when I seen him and I'm not sure if many did, so I got a picture :) I think what he did with his gear is very cool :)
The pictures can be posted with the other ones that were taken from Celebration 2. Most of the others didnt really turn out ( too dark). But if I can get any others, I'll let you know.
I will talk to Zsinj and find out exactly what is going and see how long it will take to (finally) get the Convention Database up and running. I DO know there is a Sci-Fi convention in Indianapolis, IN again.. around Nov 26th - Dec. 1st. My friend who lives there wont be in town, so I dont think I will go. But hopefully others will.

ROA Loor is currenly back on semi-leave due to school. I have given Loor some updates to do whenever he can get around to them. At this rate, the site will be ready for after Thanksgiving! :)

Zsinj has reported in and says the site should be ready for our approval in a few days! :) Soon after we approve it and it's up and running, we will release it to the fleet. :)
***SW Convention in Hamburg / Germany***

It took some time for them to figure out, but finally the last bit of the puzzle, that is to become one of the largest SW conventions in Germany has found its place...literally... The organizers finally found a location.
What I know so far:
the website is http://www.sw-con.de/swcon (only good for getting some information on the stars or for getting a ticket, but not much more, I'm afraid.)
It will be from Nov 29th to Dec. 1st in Hamburg (don't believe the
website...it lies).
For all of you, who don't know, where that is: Hamburg is a city on a
backwater planet called "Earth" by its inhabitants. :)
It's a city with about 1.6 million inhabitants and...and several good
bars...in northern Germany and has a major (air)port with several
flights a day into the whole world... so getting there shouldn't be
much of a problem.
Staying there: Hamburg has two youth hostels and I'm still working
things out with them...
Price for the hostel will be at about 16.50 EUR a person and night.
the entrance fees for the SW Con are 50 EUR for one Day, 80 EUR for
two days and 120 for all three days of fun.
