Tactical Officer's Opening Statement
3569 total custom missions online!
As I promised, there were some XWA releases this week, I keep keep my promises. Just like I promise you there will not be any bugs remaining by my next report.
XTM was updated! (X-wing Vs. TIE Fighter Mission Creation). It can be seen here. The TO will change the questions soon. This is the second IWATS course I've made for the IWATS project, Master is starting his work on updating XAM. I will see what I can do for TM momentarily.
COL TK-7794 has won the IMC flying challenge for XvT Free 188, nice flying guys.
Tactical Announcements
-TIE FREE 256, XvT Free 188, XWA TC 47 and XWA Free 117 were released this week!.
-Only 8 bugs remain!.
-There are NO TAC staff openings.
-CPT Daar Skeloria hasn't shown up at his match between the IMC and the TAC. The Match has been cancelled since both our scheduals don't allow it for the next two weeks. Besides, I only got 1 judge application...Therefore: Theres always next year! I'll have to settle with not defeating the Iron Mission Creator ;P
Tactical Projects
-Operation Ant Eater: 8 bugs remain, Its the last leg ladies and gentlemen! >:).
-Frodo's Quest for More Missions: This is my own personal quest to get mission creators to create more, I used quite a few means, mainly by competition and by posting news items that could help people start creating missions. We have alot of custom made battles and missions on the TACDB and they're swarming in. BUILD MORE!
-Fix those IWATS!: The TAC staff is fixing our IWATS courses! In collaboration with the TO we're bringing our course standards up.
Tactical Tasks
-More missions and faster turnaround in relation to testing:
I'm going to ask the FC and XO if we're doing good at this yet.
-More support relating to new platforms (Jedi outcast academy, SWGB): SWGB now has 2 active Tacticians and many, many testers, we are ready to deal with SWGB bugs and the number of battles on the compendium has increased drastically. If anybody would like to be JA staff, please contact me as soon as possible. Our new project will improve support for older platforms as well.
-Coordinating with training office to set up new training resources for new platforms: The SWGB course is there. Gimme some time on this JA stuff.
-Restart Project Pheonix and fix any bugs in the mission compendium: Operation "anteater" is nearing completion..*crosses fingers*

-Pilot of the Week Competition: The Pilot of the Week this week is CM Brukhar, for helping me out with on the spot demands for Operation Ant Eater. Standings are: Brukhar-1, Archangel-1.

Grand Total= 33 Seems like the mission creators were listening when I asked for more XvT! Three new XvT assignements were added to the list this week. We're back up to 33 with 2 releases, my goal is to reach 40 while having some consistant weekly releases! We'll see how that goes.

Iron Mission Creation is now over! Therefore a new Tactical Competition should be available for you all within the next month I'd say. Also, we're going to start preparation for the golden tugs. There is still a Palpatine Crescent up for grabs the pilot who submits the most missions in the month of May!
