Tactical Officer's Opening Statement

Hello everybody, and welcome to my sixth TAC report. This week we saw alot of action, mostly created by myself and the TAC staff with our little 'no testers' episode.

I've yet to redefine testing completely, but for now TCS will do the same work they used to do. However, the TCCs were all fired and made TCT-TCS. Except for Master, who has been promoted to Vice Admiral and is now my CA. VA Styles has been removed.

I appaulogize to all of the TCS for this. Some of you haven't been re-hired. I picked the most proficient ones, the ones with the best overall performances.

I am still going to take applications for TCS. If you want to be a TCS, send the application to myself and VA Master. KEEP IN MIND that the position of TCS IS prestigious, it shouldn't be taken lightly, and in my opinion if you just want an ID line addition, I find that discusting.

At any rate, continue submitting to the Tactical office! PLEASE! The Mission Creation incentive is going on acording to plan. FA mBind racked up the IS-PR for January with 9 submittions. Second place is a tie between COL Mike and myself, we both submitted 2, so no medal is in order. As for Free missions, GN Smitrock submitted 3, I know I asked for 5, but I still recommended him the IS-SR. Congrats guys! AND WORK FOR FEBRUARY!!!

Tactical Announcements

-This week we released XWA TC 40, XWA TC 41 and XWA DB 6! Go and fly them!

-I've begun correcting XvT/BoP bugs from the Mission Compendium for Operation Ant eater! hurray! 6 bug reports were removed yesterday from XvT! and another bunch for XWA! Keep it up Ant Eater Staff!

-The CA:TAC is now VA Master! Congrats!

-New TAC Staff is still needed!

Tactical Projects

-Operation Ant Eater:This is a lot like Project phoenix, the TAC staff will set out to destroy all bugs in the Mission Compendium! We now have some progress, more details here.

-Frodo's Quest for More Missions:This is my own personal quest to get mission creators to create more, We have gotten quite a few submittions, A new month has begun for the Incentive Comp! Goooooo!

Tactical Tasks

-More missions and faster turnaround in relation to testing: My quest for more missions is still under way. With the removal of TCCs and their final checks, we should be able to be quicker about this whole thing.

-More support relating to new platforms (Jedi outcast academy, SWGB): We have a few SWGB battles in progress, anybody interested in JA, or JO or SWGB can contact myself right away. Support is important and we need some competent staff for these new platforms. Anybody interested in a Mission Creation course for these platforms can contact me immediately and I'll make sure you get all the support you need to get me my support.

-Coordinating with training office to set up new training resources for new platforms: Still no TO, feel free to check the TAC Network for some training ressources, IWATS courses are also available, I believe I'll also make something to help about this...

-Restart Project Pheonix and fix any bugs in the mission compendium: Operation "ant-eater" is under way!

-Reform the TAC staff from a corps of testers to mission creators: Only three people are actually on the list to become TMDs. I am Accepting applications for TMD. I also removed TCCs which is sort of a reform.

Competitions

-Mission Creation Incentive: The pilot who submits the most battles to the TAC office in the month of January will be awarded an IS-PR, an IS-GR for second place and the same goes for February and March. You must submit at least 3 battles, and the same goes with missions, except the award for top missions is IS-GR and you must build at least 5. February has just begun, gooo!

-Pilot of the Week Competition: The pilot of the week this week is FA Ender mBind. The first point for February.

The "lets sing it" competition has been discontinued as of February 1st. Medals to be awarded once my TACA tells me the results.

Frothy's Corner

Thats another TAC report gone! We now have 3,450 missions on our compendium and flying seems to be going good. Therefore, we will create more and more and build up on our speed and efficiency.
