1. Star Wars Galaxies: As many of you may be aware, the web site for the new MMORPG Star Wars game has been launched, completed with a semi-detailed FAQ and some highly active message boards (in the order of several thousand posts in the first day). Signing up now is recommended for anyone hoping to beta test.
To quickly recap on the game itself, its a MMORGP (Massively-Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game - like Ultima Online, Everquest or Asheron's Call) being made be Verant, the creators of Everquest. It's being set at the height of the galactic civil war, presenting a vast multitude of opportunities for adventuring and developing your character. As with most MMORPGs a monthly fee for playing is likely, though not confirmed. Beta testing is likely to being in late 2001, with a release in 2002. And yes, you will be able to play as a Jedi...

Additionally, there is also the un-named Star Wars RPG being created by Bioware (the makers for BG2 etc.), which is set approx. 4000 to 8000 years pre-ANH, with the battle between Jedi & Sith. Very few details have been released so far. It is also currently scheduled for 2002
2. Fleet Manual: The Fleet manual is still on target with the last bits of scripting being finished up prior to more HTML work.
3. Patches/Patch Archive: Updated XWA patches are still being worked on, with certain changes-in-technology bugs being ironed out.
