RO Report # 0 (2000-04-16)

This report was submitted by FA Arcon Telf

This is the Reconnaissance Office Report for the week of 4.16.2000!

-- A smooth week here at the Recon Office. We've completed one project, and are nearing completion of another. Otherwise, things are going as normal. The new non-EH related Site of the Week has been announced as the Star Wars Modeling Alliance, a site which has templates for Star Wars graphics. It's a very useful item for doing graphics for the EH. Take a look!

-- If you are one who frequents IRC and knows of the many problems that the Undernet has, such as lag and netsplits, consider a new server, Sidenet! Sidenet is set up by Lieutenant Commander AbsoluteK, who manages the popular Squadron.org. To connect to Sidenet, simply connect to irc.squadron.org on port 6667, and experience the lag/split-free world of Sidenet. To make communication even easier, Sidenet is linked to the Undernet through a special bot, so you can even chat with people on the Undernet. Check it out!

-- The Recon Office has been supporting the EH Domain on BanthaTracks.com, a Star Wars Rating site. To vote for the top SW site on the planet, just search for Emperor's Hammer, and rate the EH with a nice number (Such as a 10). Also, the Emperor's Hammer Directorate is located on there, so go support both sites!

-- Finally, the top RO project has been completed! Through a joint project with High Admiral Kawolski, the Emperor's Hammer Fleet Systems Engineer and Tactical Officer, the INPR Archive on TC.org has been completed! To make an INPR, login, and visit the Edit INPR section, and fill in the blanks! Also, there's a useful INPR listing, where you can browse the INPRs of the TIE Corps.

-- The Emperor's Hammer Codex, the primary project at the RO currently, is extrememly close to being completed. It was put up at http://codex.ehnet.org about one week ago, and only the Command Staff History and Acronyms sections remain to be completed. If someone has any suggestions for the Codex, either good or bad, send them to me at bossk@fast.net. I would be happy to hear from you!

That's all for this week.

Respectfully Submitted,
