ISD Colossus Ship Report #8
FLEET NEWS
-The new BGCOM of the SSSD Sovereign is Stele Pallaeon.
-The new COM of the ISD Relentless is RA La'an. Us former CMDRs of
Phantom Squadron are destined to success ;)
- The COMM position is open for apps.
-Return of the Voice Add-ons: You remember when you could
play missions in the Mission Compendium with their own voice communications.
Well, they're back! Go look for them :)
-The new WC of Wing IX is MAJ Rejili Holthaus.
-The Tactical Office has created a
online
battle/mission submission form, making a lot easier for everyone to
submit battles/missions they created.
-The Tie Corps is now using a new message board at
http://www.ehtiecorps.org/mb/ .
This was created because minos.net was down for a while. I'm
somewhat confused on whether these will now be permanent or not.
-For those of you who own Freelancer, version 1.65 of Freeworlds
has been released. This new version has a lot of fantastic updates, so be
sure to check them at
http://usa.assassinsden.com/Default.aspx?tabid=89
-The most disturbing news lately was the expulsion of RA Thorin, former COM
of the ISD Relentless and creator of much of the stuff regarding tcbg.net.
He got expelled for violating his probation. Click
here if you want
to know more.
-If you play Star Wars Galaxies, you're probably a very happy person right
now. Jump to Lightspeed has been recently released. Click
here for official website (yes, it has ship profiles).
-Console owners only: LucasArts is working on a Episode 3
videogame called... Episode 3. There's a trailer
here.
SHIP NEWS
-Curtis resigned from Wing VIII WC. As a reward for his services, he was
promoted to LC.
-LC Angel returned to become the new WC.
-Andrelious J. Inahj was expelled from Nu CMDR and the whole Tie Corps for
being a clone of the infamous Mark Schueler. I won't annoy you with his last
words to me :P
-ECR Round 1 results:
The round one results are
released!
ISD Challenge: 25
ISD Colossus: 14
ISD Relentless: 12
Full round one stats are on a spreadsheet here.
Round 2: Graphics deadline is FRIDAY 12th November!
-Except for a few exceptions like Wap Eal, activity has been below average
lately.
-LCM Fortune went to reserves. I thank him for his efforts in trying to
improve activity around this ship.
-The new CMDR of Nu Squadron is no other than someone who started his career
on our humble ship, Daniel Russel. A very promissing
officer indeed.
-LT Athen has been AWOLed, or at least I got an email saying he was (You
readin this, "man who knows the man"?) :P
ORDERS
-TOP PRIORITY: I need an image
reflecting the cantina on our ship from as much of you as possible! I don't
care how poor it is, just do it!
-Our activity is getting lower. We must push up. Angel and I may take some
serious actions to work this out soon.
-We're currently in second place in the ECR. If we work hard, we can win
this. Pay close attention to orders regarding this competition. For
your information, some ppl are working really hard on this. So if you
haven't done anything to help so far, now is the time to do it.
MEDALS
Gunman: 1 LoC, IS-SW, IS-BW
Angel: ISM, IS-GW; IS-SW
Scuslem: IS-GW
CLOSING WORDS FROM THE COM
As you can see from the ECR results above, we lost in score
but we got most of the medals. Meaning we got excellent pilots, but not many
pilots flying. I hope those of you who can fly but chose not to, look at the
results above and reflect on them. We lost an opportunity to gain an
advantage right there. Something you should have learned from our very own
Squadron Leagues, is the importance of the first round in a
competition (this should be our motto, perhaps). In the next rounds, we'll
need to be better than that. Don't do it for me, do it for yourselves.
Don't you like to win? Don't you want to say at least once in your Tie
Corps career, "I'm in the best ship in this Battlegroup!"? You have to fight
for the right to say that, dawg.
