The rank of General is probably the most prestigious of all the ranks in the TieCorps. Very difficult to earn and highly respected, it is often reserved for Elite members who exhibit activity and loyalty above and beyond as well as Wing Commanders.
My exception to the "normal" squadron rule is that if a pilot comes from the reserves or transfers into a squadron and they held the General rank, they shall be allowed to retain it. These pilots have earned it, thus earning the right to keep the rank.
If a high ranking member RA and greater retires and comes back to the TC in a squadron FM position they sall revert to the traditional COL rank if they've never held the General rank before gaining their Admiral bars.
All members should make note of this and please don't bug me any more :)
-New Internet Officer: FA Bevel Leeson is the new Internet Officer for the EH.
-New Imperial Sovereign Protector: HA Ari is the new Imperial Sovereign Protector. Hope he lasts longer than his predecessors. Funny that Ari was the former IO (Internet Officer), and now he's the new ISP, a position sometimes referred too as Internet Service Provider :P
SHIP NEWS
-New WC: MAJ Curtis the new WC of Wing IX.
-New Eta CMDR: Obviously, MAJ Curtis had to leave his position as Eta CMDR. Therefore, former WC Angel has taken his place there. Angel has also been promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel for his services.
-New pilots: We received two new pilots from training, and they've both already been promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on Nu Squadron. They're LT M and LT Daniel Russel.
-Veteran returns: GN Drake, a former member of the Colossus, and the best WC I ever had the pleasure of serving, as joined the ISD Colossus, to his home squadron, Nu.
-We have changed from our old Yahoo egroup to a new one on tcbg.net. So far it's working well :)
-CMDR transferred: MAJ Kayle Bayron has decided to dedicate his time on the TC to Free Worlds, so he has left us to become the new CMDR of Panther Squadron. He was one of our best officers, and he will surely be missed :(
-There's a list of medals awarded below. However, the most notable is Curtis's Silver Star. Congratulations, Curtis :)
-The Colossus Squadron League is over, and Omicron won it. The pilot's podium was taken by Scuslem, Andrelious Inahj, and Alphafoxtrot1.
-Scuslem as been promoted to the rank of Captain.
-We now have a Profiles website for our Battlegroup and the whole EH.
-Andrelious Inahj was named Commander of the Month for our BG. Well done!

-Design a trophy competition: A graphics competition in which the aim is to produce a trohpy for the squadron of the month of Wing VIII, the trophy will be kept on the winning squadrons website if they win. No specific sizes on the graphic, however common sense is applied (don't make it to small to see or to large to fit on a page)
-CMDRs, please post your reports on our website as you release them.

-I'm planning a new Colossus Squadron League. Hold on tight, it will start soon enough.
-Egroup behaviour: Please maintain a good behaviour on our new egroup. If you don't understand what I mean, read the Code of Conduct. Also, try not to "spam". Congratulations are ok, since I noticed this wing is very good at them :)
