SSD Avenger's COM Weekly Report #5
RA Ky Terrak reporting in for the SSD Avenger

Introduction:
Well guys its the end of yet
another week and all I can say is....Its about time. We finally have
ALL of our CMDR positions filled. Congrats to everyone who is now in
command. For those pilots that have new Commanders, help them out if you
can. Now we can start having fun. There are several competitions
that are going on at ALL levels so participate and have fun. Remember to also keep
in contact with your Commanders even if its just email. Communication is the most important tool that we have.
With this being my first report done in HTML please let me know what I can do to make it easier to ready or
improve the quality. And with that being said...Onto the Weekly COM Report

Avenger Joke Comp #1
This is
just a little comp to have some fun with. Starting on 3/18 going for
one month, we will send out Star Wars jokes on the SSD_Avenger egroup and at
the end of the month we will all judge on the winner which will receive an
IS-SR and second place will receive an IS-BR
Here is my joke submission.
Two Gamorrean guards are walking down a narrow, deserted canyon when
suddenly a Krayt Dragon comes out and starts chasing them. One of the
Gamorreans stops to put on his best running shoes. "Don't waste
time," shouts the other one, "you can't outrun a Krayt Dragon with
those!" "I don't have to outrun the Krayt Dragon," says the
first one as he finishes lacing his shoes, "I just have to outrun
you!"

"Traitors Among Us"

Wisal stepped out of the council building and looked down the road. He let out a sigh, he was glad to be away from the people inside. So far all they had done was to slaughter Wisal as he tried to explain what the Galactic Empire offered them. They hadn’t made any allowances for his age. Wisal stood out in the balcony and walked to its edge. He raised his fist and hit the hard surface. Wisal looked down and looked at the lovely entrance area. It was a neatly cut lawn with several areas’ full of bushes and trees. As he looked up towards the road, Wisal saw that a high line of trees blocked the view to the road. Wisal loved it, he would love to have land to make it look like this. Then Chris walked out and saw Wisal lower his head and let out a low scream of anger. Chris walked up behind Wisal and patted him on the head.“Hey buddy, charm down. Just keep it cool in there!” Chris said. Then Wisal’s personal communicator crackled to life.
“Wisal Pol-Jo. You are needed on board the ISD Dark Master. We are in orbit and a transport should arrive in the cities dock for you in about twenty minutes.” The officer’s voice boomed though the intercom. Wisal turned it off and looked into the meeting room.
“What am I going to say?” Wisal asked Chris looking worried. Chris turned to Wisal and pushed him to the had floor of the balcony. Wisal looked up as he feel and saw a blaster bolt hit the wall just above the entrance to the council room.
“What the hell!” Wisal exclaimed as his dad stood up and fired back over the balcony. Wisal peered over the edge to see three men wearing civilian clothing holding Imperial blaster rifles. Wisal looked between the holes in the balconies rails and saw that the men where to far away to hit with the blasters that he and Chris were using. He looked down and saw the entrance lobbies roof just below them. Wisal smiled, he had an idea.
“What are you doing Wisal?” Chris asked as Wisal stood up and fired four shots at the men. Wisal turned and smiled at his dad. Then he placed his hands on the balcony rails and jumped over the edge. Chris ran to the rail and looked over the edge and saw Wisal hit the lobbies roof below and rolled across it till he reached the end. Then jumped over that and landed on the gravel path.
Wisal stood up and ran down the middle of the neatly cut lawn, till he reached a group of trees. Wisal took his time to reload his blaster and wait for the blaster fire to stop. Wisal looked around the edge of tree and saw the three men running towards a hover car sitting in the middle of the road.
As the lead man jumped in he activated a comm link to the person going him orders.
“We failed Master, We couldn’t kill him!” The man said to a cloaked figure on the screen. The cloaked figure sighed then looked up at the man, his eyes stabbing the man through the
screen.......
