ISD Colossus Commodores Report for 05/08/05

Welcome to my first report as Commodore of the wonderful ship that is the ISD Colossus!

Thought for the week -

"My friend here is trying to convince me that any independent contractors who were working on the uncompleted Death Star, were innocent victims when they were destroyed by the Rebels."

Amusing link of the week -

Scapegoat of the week -

Chris Cox, because he was my last one when i was a CMDR and i like to make him feel special...

News

As you may well have realised, im your new COM...

Im here to bring some stability to this position and to the Wing, after such a high turnaround of command positions. That and to take some big steps towards making us one of the best ships in the fleet.

Now i shall need your help for this. Priorities are activity and recruitment. Now of course we want more members, but there is no point having a full ship if they are all doing nothing. So it would help me a great deal if you could all try and be active. I would the minimum would be taking part in competitions that come round. Obviously if you want to spend every waking hour flying that would be great and you will be rewarded as such. However i dont reccomend you do that. Essentially representing the ship is the most important thing, so be sure to take part in plenty of external competitions as well as internal ones.

On the subject of activity, those of you that have read recent reports will know that our activity is severely behind that of the other ships in the TCBG. Id like that to improve. For those of you that didnt catch it here are the figures of missions flown last month -

ISD Colossus - 143

ISD Challenge - 1084

ISD Relentless - 585

ISD Immortal - 269

Total: 2081

As you can see we have the lowest total by over 100 missions and that is even set against the Immortal and its 10 pilots. So lets try and improve that folks.

As you know two of the CMDRs have been removed. I explained the reasoning for that in the email already sent out so i wont go into it again. Those spots are open for apps so if youre interested give me an email.

Im waiting on some pending competitions to give to you gentlemen so i will pass them on as soon as i get the word...
