COM'S CORNER

Heya Gang this is your old timer Commodore here with some good and bad news. The good news for you all is this will be my final report to the ship. The bad news is I must step down as Commodore of the Colossus. As I've always stated in the past RL comes first, above all else. Well my RL is catching up with me quickly with more work things to come. I'm not sure if you all know this but my wife and I are expecting yet another little Imperial member coming in April, which doesn't give me much time to do the stuff I need to do.

So instead of shirking my duties and just squeaking by I'd rather just drop to a lesser position than to run the ship down even further. I had good intentions, but all they managed to do is fail. I have already been watching the decline of activity on the ship so as not to allow it to continue, I'm gonna step down and let a more active member take over, which is what the ship needs anyway.

So in this brief moment I would like to thank you all for being here on the Colossus and making it one of the best ships in the fleet. I have enjoyed serving on this ship as former CMDR of Mu, WC and finally the COM. I hope to return to this position someday when time allows, but for now, it must go to more capable hands. I do not desire to see this ship suffer any longer due in part of my inactivity.

However, as a leaf from a tree, I shall not fall from the branch. Colossus is my home and I will still be around. I have time to be a CMDR, so if General Indaro will accept it I'd like to stay on and take over as PI CMDR, I feel that I could get back into the swing of things in a better fashion as a CMDR, but not as COM, unfortunately. Being a CMDR was my root start and I feel I could be of better service to this ship and return as the same. Of course if PI will have me :P Since as of yesterday MAJ Keiran announced his resignation yesterday, then as I stated above when this gets finalized by the FO then I'd like to be placed as PI CMDR 1-1.

You have all been a great bunch of peeps thru and through out. I hope that we can all continue to work together and make this ship the heart of the Titans as it is known for being. Lastly, please don't email me with apps for the COM spot, since I've already got someone in mind, and once I'm out and setup in my new office whatever or where ever that may be Pri should already be on the start line ready to make the change. Good luck to you all, I'll still be here if you need some help with something feel free to ask. I think myself and ZF are the longest standing members left here on the Colossus. I'm sure ZF will correct me if I'm wrong :P Anyway on to the rest of my final report.

Suffice it to say that LC Wysseri is the #1 pilot for taking the COM Escort again.

RECRUIT! If you actively recruit members to the Colossus and you get three of them, then I will award you an ISM for recruiting them. The only stipulation is that they must graduate the academy if they are there, then join the Colossus and stay for a minimum of 2 weeks while being active :P if they are old farts (RSV returnees or others), then they must remain for 2 weeks. The total amount to get an ISM, is for recruiting 3 members to the Colossus. Once this goal gets reached then I will submit a request for you to receive an ISM. Make sure you remind me or I'll forget :P

CHAIN OF COMMAND

NOTE: Remember there is a chain of command which is in place, shown below this paragraph is the order in which it is to be used.

So this by itself should give you an idea how things work in the Imperial Military. There is an orderly way of doing things and that means you must utilize the chain of command. And believe me when I say this if you don't, or chose not to, it can seriously work against you. Ship board matters needs to be dealt with using this chain. If there is a problem, it should be handled here and only here, there is no reason why anyone outside of this ship would need to help us with an internal matter, unless it's obvious that it should go beyond our immediate chain of command in order to be fixed.
