ISD Colossus Report #7
05 January 2003

COM'S CORNER

Well well what can I say its that time again. i know I said I would do it on Friday but, I still had 956+ emails to go thru :P Which just today I've managed to go thru and look at reply, delete or whatever. So now I have time for the report. It won't be lengthy but will have some decent average info for you. good job on the level of activity. I see ship wide its picking up greatly. Makes a tear come to my eye ;)

Okay lets start this off with some BSF stats. My top 5 pilots for the month of December are:

1) LC Wysseri Arestar - 49
2) LCM Atmos Myremod - 41
3) CPT Hermann - 23
4) LCM Angel - 22
5) LT Nico Qarni - 18

Of course COM's Escort is none other than, everyone come on say it! LC WYSSERI ARESTAR! I'll be submitting rec's for COM's escort for this and future selections. Congrats to all to participated in december for activity, you know who you are, Good Job! As for the rest ;( to bad so sad no goodies for you.

Now for the current top 5 in the running for COM's Escort:

1) LC Wysseri Arestar
2) LT John Edwards
3) CPT Kerian
4) CPT Hermann, LCM Ernest Penfold, LT Rinuchu Stealth
5) TBA

So far only a total of 8 members have flown anything thus far, tsk, tsk i'm rather shocked considering what I saw from last month :P not only that but the holidays are over too :( at any rate I'm keeping a running total of those BSF's for January only. Everything else has been deleted so don't ask me for a copy of them sorry.

Well Iota had their pants handed to them with their comp against Thunder, even thought it was only by 289 points, never the less thats what happens when only 2 pilots fly out of 6. Sorry we couldn't see more team work from Iota. Maybe they can pull it together for their next comp, I hope ;)

CPT Aidan Pryde is doing a wondeful job on the Iota website, which can be seen at: http://www.isdcolossus.com/iota/ . Outstanding work Captain!

RECRUIT! If you actively recruit members to the Colossus and you get three of them, then I will award you an ISM for recruiting them. The only stipulation is that they must graduate the academy if they are there, then join the Colossus and stay for a minimum of 2 weeks while being active :P if they are old farts (RSV returnees or others), then they must remain for 2 weeks. The total amount to get an ISM, is for recruiting 3 members to the Colossus. Once this goal gets reached then I will submit a request for you to receive an ISM. Make sure you remind me or I'll forget :P

CHAIN OF COMMAND

NOTE: Remember there is a chain of command which is in place, shown below this paragraph is the order in which it is to be used.

1) Flight Officer
2) BGCOM
3) COM
4) WC
5) CMDR
6) FL
7) FM

So this by itself should give you an idea how things work in the Imperial Military. There is an orderly way of doing things and that means you must utilize the chain of command. And believe me when I say this if you don't, or chose not to, it can seriously work against you. Ship board matters needs to be dealt with using this chain. If there is a problem, it should be handled here and only here, there is no reason why anyone outside of this ship would need to help us with an internal matter, unless it's obvious that it should go beyond our immediate chain of command in order to be fixed.

CLOSING EXTRAS

Okay I think that's it. Enjoy the report cya in a week or two for the next one :P

In closing, CMDR's, REMEMBER STANDING ORDER #3! For the rest of you lets get more work done together, you know be the T in TEAMWORK! That's it have a good day!
