ISD Colossus Ship Report #1

Oh look... it's a ship report! That's right! I'll write one of these once a month, usually when there's something important to announce. For example, you'll find comp results and a new large comp on this one. Enjoy!

FLEET NEWS

-The database is almost completely fixed.

-The ATF has a new BGCOM, and it's VA TK2107

-There were some big changes around the Command Staff:
RA Drako is the new Training Officer
FA Keldorn is the new Security Officer
DJM Gelton is the new Grand Master (for all you Dark Brotherhood members)
VA Aseret is the new Supreme Director (for all you secret agents who I don't know about)

-HA Priyum has resigned from his position as ISP.

-COL Sephiroth has resigned as WC of Wing X. His position is now open for aplications. Check the Tie Corps Website for requirements.

-Since Gelton Torr is the new GM, Praetorian Squadron now has Abel Malik as CMDR.

-The new SO has decided to take measures to stop the spam wave on the Soap Box, which got out of hand really. Several threads on the Soap Box have already been locked. Click here for more. Don't worry, Bayron, you still got our forum and one spam thread on the Soap Box.

-There's now a Debate Forum. Please read the rules before posting there.

SHIP NEWS

-Gunman is the new ISD Colossus COM, and Angel is the new Wing VIII WC

-CM Scuslem is the new CMDR of Omicron Squadron, in replacement of Angel.

-CM Terrian is the new CMDR of Pi Squadron. Terrian is currently working on the future TCBG sites, and he's also the Executive Vice President of the Corporate Division. To have an idea of his work. check out his new office, which is this week's EH Site of the Week!

-Special congratz for MAJ Kayle Bayron and MAJ Angel for getting Silver Stars! :)

-LC Mark, a big friend of mine, has come back from reserves and joined our ship.

-Congrats to Curtis who got promoted to MAJ, and Andrel who made LCM this week.

-Wisal Pol-Jo got FL in Eta, and Rondo steped down as FL.

-Another arrival this week. Welcome to Darksnake who got back to us. And ‘The new Guy’  SL Kadon Beir who already got promoted to LT!!

-Tyken Restar was transfered to the reserves due to no activity in the EH

-CM Mach Blader joined Omicron from the reserves. Welcome!!

-Kayle Baron and Curtis are currently on leave. Curtis will be away for a little while longer, so Wisal is currently A:CMDR of Eta. Unfortunately, I just got informed that Wisal "blew up" his PC and is now using a laptop. He can't fly but he can still communicate with us.

-MAJ Angel has returned from his leave.

-Flight test results: here are the results of the latest flight test. Participation was poor, which I hope it means you were all very busy with RL (exams and stuff). Also, I'm disappointed that I only got a squadron score report from MAJ Kayle Bayron, and CM Scuslem only sent me the files. On the next flying comp, you all must do better. I'll explain how.

TIE-Free 224
CM Scuslem: 75,690
LC Zystem Fryar: 75,280
RA Gunman: 45,842
LT Mason Selrood: 44,874
LT Kadon Beir: 36,635
LCM Andrel Inahj: 34,689
LT Darksnake: 25,167
LCM Aero Slasher: 3,312

XWA-Free 112
LC Zystem Fryar: 12,698
CM Scuslem: 10,733
LT Mel Aani S'ger: 3,252

Congratulations to Scuslem and Zystem Fryar, you've shown to be the finest on this ship :)

-We're winning on the Bragging Rites thread. Thanks to all who voted so far, both here and outside the ship. Go there and vote if you haven't.

-Moral Officer: BGCOM Mell Kerrigan wishes to improve the moral and the image of the TCBG. However, instead of looking around for a Doctor, I prefer to choose a Moral Officer for us. And the lucky chosen one is MAJ Kayle Bayron! He's been selected due to his active communication, significant MB presence, and good spirit. He's now in charge of the moral around here and of giving a good image of our ship to the rest of the fleet. You might see a thread created by Bayron on the recruitment forum every now and then. If you have any non-tech problems around here, you may talk to Bayron too. Congrats on the appointment, Major :)
(btw, this is not an official position)

ORDERS

-Write or draw something about your worst enemy and send it to Angel. This comp lasts until the end of the month. IS-SR for every winner in each section, IS-BR for every second place.

-COLOSSUS SQUADRON LEAGUE: Read the comp details: http://www.ehtiecorps.org/competitions/details.asp?ID=1298
Surprised? Good! Here are your current orders for this league. I'll use the squadrons order in the roster for the order of mission selection. So Aidan Pryde already chose the mission you'll fly, and it's TIE-Free 160 -> http://www.ehtiecorps.org/battles/battle.asp?record=561
All squadrons have to fly this EXCEPT Nu Squadron. Nu is "on leave" for this first round. The round's last day is the 30th of June. After that day, all the CMDRs of the participating squadrons have to send me an email with the list of scores, and mention which of the pilots who didn't flew are on leave. Pilots, remember the score is based on average, so if you don't fly, you contribute with a 0 to the average. You don't need to be a math genious to know what that means...
Also, remember that at least two members of each squadron must fly, otherwise the squadron gets 0 points from that round.
Good luck everyone!
IMPORTANT: CM Terrian, you'll choose the mission for the next round, in which your squadron won't participate. I need to know your choice on the 30th. Remember to choose a free mission, and not a battle, and make sure the mission has no "fatal error" bug report.

-There'll be a very simple TCBG comp soon, so pay attention to whatever news you get from Mell Kerrigan.

-Though some of you, like Mel and Bayron, have a considerable presence in the Message Boards, I would like to see some more activity there. Come on in!

-We have an IRC channel, in case you don't know, and you're free to join in and talk to your wing mates. Also, I always pop around every once in a while, and I'm open to questions and suggestions (that's how the squadron league came in).

SPECIAL OBJECTIVES

Here are a few things I would like to see done:
Pi Squadron: I would like you to try and recruit at least one more member ASAP. Just to get to 6 pilots there.
Nu & Eta Squadrons: You both have 6 or more pilots. However, your number of citations leaves something to be desired. I would appreciate if there was some coordinated flying effort around there to solve it.
Everyone else, keep up a decent level of flying and communication. BGCOM Mell would love to see his BG reach 100 members, so any help in recruitment would be most appreciated.

That's all folks
