COLOSSUS REPORT
W/C 10th February 2003

SHIP STATUS

The Colossus is currently in dock undergoing a general refit. As such all Wing VIII squadrons have been reassigned:

Mu and Pi - VSD Bombard
Omicron - FRG Kelly
Nu and Eta - A/FRG Imperator
Iota - FRG Onamo

During the first part of the refit the Bombard and Kelly will assist local law enforcement. This will involve patrolling the Aurora system and outlying regions, while the remaining ships guard the Colossus. When the refit is 50% done the two ships will return and the Imperator and Onamo will replace them on patrol.

Over the next few weeks the Colossus will also be receiving various new crew members. I won't know who until the paper work arrives, but I've been reliably informed that they will include a new Chief Engineer and Tactical Officer.

As everyone will know i've been appointed COM. WC is currently open to applications and the requirements can be found at:

On Sunday i installed Windows XP on my newish PC, and yesterday i got round to installing TIE. I followed the instuctions written by LC Sephiroth of Wing X which can be found at:

I am happy to report that i flew and completed the first mission of the Hoth Campaign. I'll be conducting further tests to see if custom missions work ok, but this should give hope to those unable to fly because of XP conflicts.

Don't forget to fly for the Wing Top Gun comp.

Remember, flying 25 missions in a week (sunday midnight GMT) gets you a ISM, 45 a PC and 80 a BS.

Due to recent problems and complaints on our battle I've decided to order as follows:

Destruction of EH ships listen in Fleet Manual is forbidden (unless FCHG or CAB)
All EH vs EH battles are forbidden, unless some conditions met.
FCHG/CAB battles, when we loose IW ship, must be approved by IWTAC, DB ship by SHW, and so on.
