Significant events of childhood: Marenta did not have friends growing up, since she was a clone and grew faster than her peers. As such, she was kept separated from people and was encouraged to cultivate her mind.

Me: That's what they all say. Anyway, back to the story. After I gave myself the what-for against the lighting panel, I realized I was turned around and near the hangar bay. Well, the deck chief always keeps a good stock of Chalquilla in storage locker 3-A7. I saunter over, minding my own business, when suddenly, the hangar bay goes dark. At this point, I kinda forgot, but I did hear the Major giggling. I think it was a bag. Smelled terrible. Pretty sure it was a gym bag. Anyway, I'm totally out of it, I'm drunk, my face is smashed in, and I've been Admiralnapped. As soon as we get to wherever it was, there was an attempt to get me vertical, I don't think it went well because I got a black eye on the side of my face that didn't hit the wall. I think I left blood on the Phoenix, and those cadets are awesome, they'll clean it right up. Back to the story. I may have tested the artificial gravity a few times, but I was out of it. I heard giggling, and shuffling, and some rather silly insults. I mean, who calls hair styles stupid? We're not in 3rd grade. Come on! Plus, we're not allowed to wear makeup, and I swear there were some really great drag outfits. Maybe that was a dream, not sure at this point. But, I ended up in the day lounge of Inferno squadron, half off the couch, onto the floor. Now, I don't know about you guys, but floors in any squad living accommodations are disgusting. It was my face. On the floor. My busted face. I've got an infection, that infection is called Colonel. Because somehow my rank was busted back down. Like magic, poof! And, Inferno offered me punch and pie to stay, so I did. And, that's how I became a Colonel.
