From the Desk of Colo Delste

April flew by and we are already into May, so an omnibus issue! Much news to cover in this report, and time to look forward, as well. First off, welcome to CM Iam Thinking, who joined us from Firebird. Iam has slotted into the 1-2 position and is racking up wins in BF2. Keep it going! Some bittersweet news. LC Honsou, who has had a storied career so far in the TC as a member of Tempest - a very successful pilot and CMDR - has departed Tempest and the Challenge to take up the XO position in Beta Squadron. Honsou's wit and skill in the cockpit will be missed in the Tempest mess hall, but we wish him well in his future prospects! April and May were quiet months for awards, no doubt due to Spring Equinox celebrations nearby taking us away from our Deep Strike role, but hopefully the coming months assist in bringing glory to our pilots. As a result of Honsou's departure, we have reallocated to being 2 flights strong. If you would like to be considered for the vacant FL position in Flight 3, please contact me by email or Discord DM.

The current round of TCiB ends on June 15th! The missions to complete are:

• TIE-TC 152: Relentless Training
• XvT-TC 142: The Venator (this one requires ship patches)
• XWA-TC 58: Expansion

Coming up from June 1st is Squadron ReMobilisation (or ReMob). ReMob is an event that combines all possible types of activity together with goals at various tiers set for Squadrons to reach. I will be posting in #tempest on the Discord a tracker we can use to keep track of our progress on these goals. I encourage everyone who can take part to do so - together we can hit a number of these goals. Every little bit counts!.
