Another rotation aboard the ISDII challenge and we find the entirety of Thunder Squadron in the hangar fixing their TIE Phantoms from all the “organic remains” of the Ishtari they had been recently fighting. Captain Xander helping out the newest of the squad, LT Swainteth, on how to properly dislodge an Ishtari leg from the landing gear, CPT Ryuzokin using his ice specific force powers to deep freeze Ishtari meat for “scientific purposes that involve a grill”, and LCM Bonebolt arguing with CM Grendel who had the most kills between them in the last battle. The rest of Thunder Squad was unfortunately missing, currently being sought after by some of Legion’s Mandalorian clan members.
Legion himself just finished repairing his modified TIE Interceptor, Ghost Bullet V2, and put in a new Red MAtter Fuel Cell into the Hyperdrive installed in the rear of the fighter and sat right on top of the fighter to look over his squadron. While doing so and actually forming a smile under his mask over his squadmates he noticed the rest of the Challenge Hangar near empty. Noticing some lingering members of Tempest and Firebird off in the corner, Raven still on deployment somewhere, and Eagle…nowhere to be found. ‘Probably on a mission I guess’ formed in Legion’s thoughts as started to feel uncomfortable with the hangar getting more and more quiet over the last few months.
‘Welp, guess we can run Time Trials again for everyone…and maybe I should bring an idea I had to our newest Warfare Officer on a new training exercise I though-’ As Legion’s was thinking in his own mind on improvements, a voice inside his head interrupted him.
“Interruptive Reminder: Apologies sir, but it seems the latest of the sports league videos need your commentating attention again at the broadcasting station. Seems some major developments have occurred and more of Blood Bowl players have died, requiring more replenishments.” Legion just chuckles some more and starts up his TIE Interceptors engines to head out and address the issue.

Squadron News

Alright Thunder, Listen up:
So Imperial Storm 5 is over, and we can move on to a more focused “repairing” of our squadron. Unfortunately there will be some moves to reserves so we are going to have some open room in the squadron. Now would probably be a good time to start inviting any friends you know to join us if you want to, otherwise we continue as we always have before. Enjoying the chaotic fun we always make.
Now that we have Elite Dangerous joining in on the primary games list, I hope many of you will take advantage of that, I’ve been put in charge of running the in game EH squadron we have under the guidance of GA Rapier himself, so if you are in the game be sure to send out a squad application to the Emperors Hammer squad [squad tag: EH94] We are working to get our org to incorporate an in-game faction to help us grow it to take over several systems one day and more folks in the squad would make it easier to help in that creation.
I also got the EHTV project running up now, AirLock Podcast returning along with the start of a sports league for the TC to enjoy. If you are wanting to help in that regard, be sure to contact me to see what we could do to improve it.

Not really much going on in the BG I’m afraid. We got the trivia going on but not much else. Had AD Stryker post about the new Legion’s Challenging Time Trial in the announcements page so we can start bringing up more to the BG, and I am personally working on some BG competitions myself so spring our BG back to life.

Around the Fleet:
With the fleet currently under repairs after IS5, other than the usual TCiB or Ace of the TIE Corps and the COO Combat Events nothing of main attention other than the new Warfare Officer Position granted to AD Phoenix Berkana. We congratulate Berkana on his new position and look forward to seeing what he brings, or continues to bring, forward to the Corps.
