Arguably the most important news
that we have here actually doesn't come from the Combat
Operations Office but from the Internet Office.
We
have an upgraded website and database!
Thanks
to the efforts of Fleet Admiral Turtle Jerrar and his team
(including COOA VA Silwar Naiilo) as well as the pilots that
helped in testing systems and submitting bug reports, we've had
a relatively successful launch over the course of the night of
February 12 and February 13.
The
IO does ask if you notice any issues, to report them to the IO Incoming Issues Queue on GitHub
In
the process it refitted the Combat Operations Administration
system which will necessitate an update to the Combat Operations
Exam as that especially now has outdated information. This will
be a priority task for me to complete by the end of the month
(if not earlier).
Turtle,
on behalf of the Combat Operations Office, we want you to take
the rest of the day off here on the Aggressor so that you can
kick back and watch the Super Bowl. Pretzels, chips, porg wings
and beer await you.
There
will also be a shipwide ban on Chalquilla on the Aggressor for
health and safety reasons. Anyone found with this contraband
will have it confiscated and airlocked.

Saturday Shootouts
The TIE Corps will be on high alert beginning at 6PM EST (11pm GMT) every Saturday, when we will scramble as many fighters as available. A member of the Combat Operations Office organize one or more groups. The game played will be determined by the pilots online, which could be multiple simultaneous games across groups of pilots. One PvP game played, on a supported platform, with at least one other enlisted TIE Corps pilot as part of a Shootout group, will earn you one point. Ten games played will earn you an IS-CW, with a maximum of one earned per day. The numbers of matches played will be recorded by an available member of the COO team. (Wins are not required.) Please note: if you are already signed up for an event such as SPL or 3PO, practice and scheduled matches take priority! |

Approval
Criteria:
At
least 1 kill or 1 objective with a winning match. You may submit
a 0 kill scoresheet so long as your scoreboard matches up
accordingly. For Star Wars Squadrons you must have at a minimum
200 score to be considered productive
Modifiers
for Squadrons are to either be pre-checked with the COO/COOAs
or conform to posted accepted presets (3PO League, etc.)
For
matches involving multiple EH pilots on the winning team, they
must be defined in match report and also must be in a scoreboard
screenshot.
Custom missions must have a screenshot containing posted modifiers. Match
reports must be made no more than 72 hours
after completion unless special dispensation is given by the COO
