Happy New Year to all the valiant pilots of Kappa Squadron. I hope this year is off to a great start for each of you. December merit medals have been awarded and a big congratulations to COL Ulrich Drachen and CM Shang Khan for receiving the Imperial Security Medal for their efforts in December. I also was fortunate to receive a Bronze Star. January is half complete so I remind you that there are many ways to participate in TIE Corp besides flight games. There are always trivia, puzzles, IU Courses, uniform updates, fiction and wikis. Check the Competition section later in this report for ideas on how to keep involved! Speaking of involvement, I am assured that you each read COM/HA Wolfe's ship report last week. I will paraphrase a pertinent part of it here for emphasis: To improve our membership experience (and FUN!), the Warrior is embarking on a plan to improve key activities such as Recruitment, Competitions, Ship Activities and Communications. Each CMDR has volunteered to lead the development of these areas of focus but we need help and input from all hands. Your experiences and insight - both in the TIE Corp and outside - are valuable and necessary to the success of this endeavor so keep on eye on Squadron discord and email for further.

As the ISDII Warrior embarks on its next operational campaign under direction from the Fleet Commander, an NPC threat or enemy is required to form the framework of future campaign competitions.
