Greetings pilots of the Hammer!

Welcome to this weeks ship report. Shockingly we're already into December and closing in on the end of 2021, which makes one wonder where this year has gone!

It's been a fairly busy period since the last report, a number of medals have dropped which can be seen below - congratulations to everyone who received one and well done. We've also seen the end of both the Hammered on the Hammer which was run by CM SoloHan50 and the results can be found below. We also finished Season Three of the Trivia for the Hammered, results below as well.

Given the popularity of the Trivia for the Hammered we'll be running a Christmas Special using the current rules, however before we begin Season Four I'll be looking at the current submission method. Those of you on Discord will see that I've kicked off a poll to sound people out about their preference so please do let me know your thoughts.

Wing I membership dropped by 1 this week with LCM XCptCronchX sadly departing for the Reserves, as always we wish you well and hope to welcome you back in due course. I'd also remind people to continue their efforts in recruitment, we can always make use of new members!

Hammered on the Hammer
Hammered on the Hammer is officially over now and I'm extremely excited to announce the winners:

In 1st place, and earning what I believe is her first IS-GR, is LT ElleOhh, detailing the Betta Blaster which is only made possible through using disciplines from every Hammer Squadron. She has requested that all of Beta Squadron receive praise and awards for this, so I bequeath IS-ZRs on all of the Beta Squadron members who made this happen. Please note that the Iron Star - Zucchini Ribbon is not an official TC medal, has no cash value, and terms and conditions apply. It may also get me airlocked by Plif. That said, it does earn you a special place in my small, furry heart, as the Betta Blaster is truly a fantastic piece of fiction and really sets the bar for what TC fiction can look like - view the drink here.

In 2nd place, and earning an IS-SR, is CPT Xye who documents the story of the BE3tlejuice, a drink made of fermented beets that makes the pilot forget that they drank it, ensuring endless drinks for the pilots and (presumably) endless profits for the Drunken Bastion - view the drink here

In 3rd place is CM Aval and earning an IS-BR., who details a delicious-sounding concoction of Abraxian Rum and Corellian Spice Root Ale named the Dark and Vengeance, while also hinting that BE-37 might not take kindly to people interrupting his bartending - view the drink here

An honorable mention goes to CM 'Stitches' TheBlackxRanger, who submitted an entry about a craft beer that comes in a custom (and unwieldy) hammer-shaped glass, view the drink here

Hammer Tour of Duty
Season Two of the Hammer Tour of Duty has arrived, this competition sees all pilots assigned to the ISDII Hammer flying an assigned set of Battles during a 4 week period before we tally up and move to the next round.

The target being to fly XWA-TC 21 to XWA-TC 40, all available from the Battle Centre.

Completing a battle: 4 points
>70% battle laser accuracy: +1 point
>85% battle laser accuracy: +2 points
>50% of the battle high score: +1 point
>75% of the battle high score: +2 points
Writing a review of 20+ words for a completed battle: +1 point

Note: Completing a battle with 0 lasers fired will count as 100% accuracy.

Trivia for the Hammered - Season Three
Each week, 4 questions will be released via email. For each question, the quickest pilot to answer correctly receives 3 points, second quickest with the correct answer gets 2 points and all the pilots with a correct answer get 1 point.
We tally up at the end of the week with the highest point total winning an IS-BR..
After 8 rounds we tally up for our Season Three winner who will receive an IS-SR, the runner up an IS-BR.
Points earned on each question accrue and lead to IS-CRs being awarded for every multiple of 50 points.

This round saw questions about Inquisitor Jerec and was won by MAJ Aldaric. Well done Major!
The final standings are listed below - and we had a interesting result where GN Coranel Both and CM Solohan50 tied for first place and the IS-SR with CPT Witcher securing the IS-BR in second place.
