Short report this week since I was late last week!Some exciting promotions and awards to highlight though:

Congrats to our newest LT, Aardvark. Off to a great start with your TC career! A few awards to highlight as well: Palpatine Crescents to COL Daniel Stephens and LT Reyla Setsune for reaching Gunner's Mate 1st. Keep up the good work and congrats you two! Should be some additional stuff coming to Kappa members as the MSE gets processed.

Repeat from last report: If you’re looking for activity outside of comps, we’re pretty dang close on a whole bunch of Squadron Citations. Check the Squadron Battleboards on the website. I’ll start chipping away at some of these as well and we can look at running a comp around it in November.

Couple pretty major TC updates I wanted to be sure you saw. HA Elwood the Brace stepped down as Hammer COM (thanks for your time/service there, Woody!) and there has been some shuffling with commanders. GN Phoenix Berkana is taking over as Hammer COM, which opens Thunder Squadron as a commander slot if you're interested in a leadership postion. There's also enough interest in Infiltrator Wing stuff that a new Squadron is being put together to be led by MAJ Talon Jade, if you're interested in flying alphabet craft. Still at 12 strong with KAPPA HYPE!

Competition Center - click this for a good time: Lots of good comps running at the moment, especially for your Squadrons pilots. Reminder - if you're submitting a screen for a Squadrons comp, check the latest guidance in the comp description for who/what/where to submit.

Misadventures of Kappa Squadron: Pilots are to submit a 'Misadventures of Kappa Squadron' story/story snippet to the Squadron Commander for inclusion in the WSR. The sky (space?) is the limit - no prompts required. The submission that makes it into the Weekly Squadron Report will have it's creator awarded an IS-BR. For every fifth single award the medal will be upgraded to an IS-SR. Valid submissions are to be a piece of fiction equivalent to at least half a standard page (double spaced is fine).

Kappa King or Queen of the Month: UPDATE: Please let me know if you submit an IWATS course so I can count your points! Calling all Kappa pilots of all platforms! Get to your fighters, there's an IS-BW up for grabs for who can get the most points from flying and/or educating yourselves! Points awarded as follows (and will be retroactive for the month of October): Email/Telegram/Discord presence in Kappa Chats - 1 pt each TIE/XvT/XWA SP mission flown - 2 pts per mission LoC/LoS (Star Conflict/Battlefront/Squadrons) - 5pts each LoC/LoS (XvT/XWA) - 15 pts each IWATS Passed - 25 pts each Good luck Kappa!
