Introduction - A Return to Normal

I'm sure you all know by now that February is over and as such this will be the last report with the Alternate Graphics and the Nickname. Everything will be returning to normal after this is posted.

I know this was popular and due to that I'm thinking about doing the comp again maybe during the RTF. IF I can work some wrinkles with running it during the RtF with Plif. So Stay Tuned!

The biggest news is that we have had 3 promotions in the last 48 Hours so a BIG Congratulations go to CM leocardio, LCM Junazee and LCM Grayson!

Just as a FYI the February MSE has been submitted and I'm just waiting on the ship Eval to be approved by the TCCOM/SOO before i can start handing things out again.

Also the Star Wars Flight are on the Humble Bundle so if you want to fly some missions this is your best chance to get them cheap!

Squad Activity Requirements

Ladies and Gentleman there always have been a long standing question in the TC and that is "What is the bare minimum I need to do before i considered AWOL or am "forced" from my roster spot?" with the standard "I think it's just send your CMDR 1 email a month". Unfortunately with Kappa being full this needs to change.

I'm not talking drastically but just receiving a email a month is not going to be enough especially when we have and full squad and extremely easy comps to participate in.

So as of now Kappa Squadron's Policy on activity is as follows:

  • You must have some form of contact with the CMDR and the Squad or TC at large at least once a month. This means either by email, telegram, Teamspeak or another chat service (ie Steam).
  • You also must have participated in at least one Comp per month (Warrior Trivia Counts guys! so this is super easy!), or Fly a SP mission or earn 1 LoC or LoS a month.

    • Now does this mean if you miss a month your out of the squad NO it does not mean that. If you miss a month I'll reach out to you. Now if you miss a couple of months and don't respond to my emails then I will follow the AWOL Procedures. Exactly how far I'll let you slide is a trade secret but please don't test the limits.

    Of course if you need a LOA just let me know as soon as you can and then these requirements will be dropped during your LOA.

    These requirements are in the testing phase so any comments or questions please email me privately. Otherwise take part in the Plif's Trivia and be active with your squad. The more active we all are the more fun we will have.
