Fleet & Corps News

Commander of the TIE Corps Battlegroups, Vice Admiral Jarak, has been promoted to the rank of Admiral! He has served for six months as BGCOM, and this is a well deserved reward for his work :)

Commodore of the ISD Colossus, Rear Admiral Troutrooper, left his position to join the Tactical Office as a Command Attache. The new Colossus COM is RA Mell! That's right, Mell is now in the admiralities. Scary, eh? :P

The TIE Corps Commander's Award for the month of February went to the ISD Relentless' Wing IX! Congratulations to General Ricaud's boys ;)

As you may have already heard, the Naval Corps is shutting down...all NC pilots are being shifted to XWA Wings. More details can be found in XO Report #4, issued by SA Kawolski. It details many of the changes that are going to be implemented to the TC (and the EH in general) over the coming months.

As you all know, WC/GN Darklord left the Challenge a few days ago...his replacement was quickly selected as Inferno CMDR, Colonel Manitsas! :)

Taking Manitsas' place is Captain Calvin Nunb...congratulations to him also :)

Operation: Cantina Run III - Mission Flying Contest
Details yet to be announced.

Wing X Honor Guard Competition - Fly TC-TIE Battle #150
The deadline has now been extended with the battle change, but this battle is easier, so you shouldn't have any problems. Remember, the higher the score, the greater the chance that you will earn a place in the Wing X Honor Guard squadron of the wing's best 12 pilots! TFRs are due by March 23rd.

Tornado vs Infiltrator Wing - Fly Free-TIE Mission #119
Not many people have flown this yet, but we still have a week to go...the scoring is based on pure averages, so decent scores are essential! The mission is attached, and the deadline is March 23rd.
