Fiction:
This week we got little competition. Here, you got beginning of the story. You'll have to make the rest. No medals, but i'll remember it during MSE.
Single Gunboat was leading formation of 12 imperial fighters. Other squadron followed them. As always, Mike was first taking enemy fire on his fighter. Other pilots were following him. This was weird mission. Enemy attacked imperial citizens and destroyed few cities on Achenar 6. Crusader squadron was sent to take enemy out. But this was unknown enemy. Appared from nowhere, unknows technology, never seen before.
It was very tough mission. Becuase of atmosphere imperial fighters couldn't use shields. Seeing ruins and destruction of imperial city Mike said:
-I shouldn't have left her.
-Don't worry man. She's your wife. I'm sure she is safe now. Or... As Colonel Woobee said. "Well. I don't know how this happened here. But only thing i'm sure. Crusader Squadron will emerge victorious once again. " - commented Marcin K.
All fighters passed through the clouds and they saw enemy battleship. Much bigger than anything they saw before. 20km in lenght.
-Oh man... big bastard. - said Flaggellant.
-Lock and load. - said Mike and locked his torpedoes. All fighters locked missiles, rockets and torpedoes.
-Sir. Fighters are in range - said communications officers to commodore.
-Fire at will - ordered Khadgar.
-Crusaders! This is it!
-Crusader 12! Fox 2!
-Crusader 6! Fox 1!
-Crusader 2! Fox 2!
-Tartarus 8! Fox 1!
About 100 missiles have been fired. Now they were all waiting.
-C'mon, c'mon, c'mon. - said Mike watching his missile. But when instead of explosion on enemy hull, they saw missiles exploding with enemy shield.
-They got some king of shield!!!! - shouted Wiesio.
-How, man!!!??? Not in atmoshphere!!!
-Crusaders!!! One more time!!! Crusader 1! Fox 1! - Mike fire another torpedo. Others done the same. But without results. - Pull up!!! Pull up!!! - ordered Mike to avoid disaster.
-Fighters!!! Coming in!!! - informed Drako!!!
-Too many of them!!!!
-All right!!! Engage Crusaders!!! - said Mike and locked on of fighters. He fired few laser blasts but enemy was intact.
-They got shields too. - confirmed Jonny.
-Retreat!!!!...........
