Cmdr Strahd retreats to his private quarters...

"Man, this has been a busy week. Two new recruits, two ship tours, two times the luggage in the pilot barracks...This is great!" Just as the ship quiets down and Cmdr Strahd begins to fall asleep...The com light turns on...

"Sir, we have your LT here wanting to go out for a patrol. May he go out?" Asked the controller.

"What? I thought you just asked me this an hour ago?" Strahd replied

"Yes I did, but that was for another one of your pilots..." the controller answered.

"Fine, fine...he may go as well... But do not bother me again...they may all go out if they wish for future reference" Strahd snapped back "Now let me sleep!"

The TIE Corps Commander's Award for the month of April goes to Wing II! Under the leadership of Colonel Inkwolf, the Wing members has shown themselves to be highly active with large amounts of communication amongst the Squadrons and many IWATS courses & battles being completed. They recently triumphed over Wing V in their Wing vs Wing competition, so both myself and Admiral Havoc agreed that the Wing deserved some recognition!

A small problem with my power cable has prevented me from being able to recharge the batteries to my laptop or use it without battery power. As a result, NL #74 is stuck on it until I fix the power cable. Hopefully, I'll be getting a replacement power source tonight and I'll be able to finish NL #74, post my relatively small XO report, and update several pages, including some of the finishing ones on the EH Database.

Wing XV WC Appointed

The news you have been all waiting for. Wing XV Wing Commander has been approved. Wing XV shall serve under the leadership of soon-to-no-longer-be-a-CPT Zippy Hawk! The requirements I had were various, our new BGCOM - and in fact the Training Manual - demand that command positions in the ASF are taken by Multi Play pilots, and personally I also preferred somebody I knew and trusted to be the right WC. This was probably the most difficult decision I ever made, especially when also the FO and BGCOM got themselves more involved - which then ignited the Security Officer, the XO and even the FC to get involved into the whole thing... Without that it was hard enough, the people invited to apply were all overly qualified and deserving. After a lot thinking I would like to announce that the new Wing XV Commander is Maj. Zippy Hawk, formally of Python Squadron. We've known Hawkie for quite a while and he has repeatedly proved to be very entertaining and reliable to do his reports. Congratulations soon-to-be-Major! Party will be in the Officers Mess this evening - drinks are on Hawkie;P

I'm pleased to announce that we have 2 new recruits in Echo thanks to Blair Vallyn and they are both active pilots I can see. Great work to you all! You are all making me very proud! Activity is up. With numerous BSFs, mp events, Iwats courses and E-mails I have been kept busy...Keep up the great work! We'll show Wasp what we can do and we'll get that WC's own. Just wait till you see the activity report :)

I also have a request...I want everyone to let me know by E-mail about the MP events you are participating in...that way, I can award points with better certainty. Also, forward the e-mails you get for LoC's and DFC. That way I can award you the points for MP wins and be certain I didn't miss any...

I also am trying to get us a message board in the TC message center. Hopefully I will get an answer soon.
