SQUADRON NEWS
Still pretty quiet in Samekh in terms of overall activity. I really need some input from all officers as to what would get you more involved and active each week. I seem to only hear from two or three officers out of a squadron of 8 right now. Remember, the only way to earn those medals and promotions is to be active. ļ

WING NEWS
Wing V vs. Wing II Comp
Fly TC-TIE #64 and #65 by April 30th. All pilots with TIE Fighter are encouraged to fly this so that we can show Wing II who the truly best wing on the SSSD Sovereign is!
Weekly Wing V Meetings:
Wing V has weekly meetings each Saturday at 1300 HRS EST, 1 PM EST for those that don¡¦t know the 24 hour clock, in the mIRC Undernet #Airlock21 channel! All pilots are welcome to attend, although the primary purpose of these meetings are for Command purposes, all pilots are welcome to inject ideas or thoughts during the meetings. Participation in recent weeks has been virtually non-existent and we really need a better showing from the entire wing if we are to continue our growth and prosperity.

In correlation to VA Fondor's recent news post, Ford is indeed the current TIE Tactics professor. However, he's been receiving a trickle of old tests via e-mail. Old tests and pilot files are NOT being accepted! For over a month, a new test has been re-instated in place of the old exam and requisite battle; if you wish to pass the TIE Tactics course, please read over the new course notes and take the new on-line exam, all located at http://www.imperialacademy.org/tietactics.

A new AlliED has been released for registered users! This one fixes that annoying "No Cargo" bug from TIE Fighter imported missions. Another bug that made briefings corrupt has also been fixed. Several other undocumented fixes were made as well.
