Fiction:

No submissions, so this is my own, short, fiction:

COL Darwin Matir had just rounded a corner on board the ISD Grey Wolf when he saw MAJ Brucmack heading down the hallway towards him. He quickly turned into another hallway, but heard "COL Matir!" come shouting after him. It was loud enough that he couldn't pretend he hadn't heard it.
"Yes, Major?"
"Where is your WSR?" replied Brucmack.
"Sir, I'm having Datapad troubles. The memory is gone. I must reload the data." said the Colonel.
"Again, Matir?"
"Yes, sir."
"We all have trouble from time to time. However, perhaps you should see if supply could requisition you a new Datapad. I'm particularly fond of the IP-4.1500 model."
Just then he spotted a LT from Engineering. "Lieutenant! Lieutenant! Yoohoo!" he hurried off to catch the LT, and COL Matir hurried off to supply.

(Yeah, it's short, but that's what you get when I have no submissions!)

News/Standing Orders:

1) FLs MUST have their flight reports in to me EVERY Thursday. I will
remind you all that I have the right to change my FLs at any moment so
please do a good job. Also, if you're gonna apply for CMDR, you'll want MY
reccomendation. I will remember your activity levels.

2) All pilots must submit 3 pilot files or a good reason why you couldn't
("My joystick's broken" is acceptable, "I was sleeping" isn't.) by the end
of the week. (ONLY ONE PERSON MET THIS REQUIREMENT LAST WEEK!!! LET's GET ACTIVITY UP!!!)

3) WoW. Fly. 'nuf said. (I hope. If you don't understand, email me.)

4) The pilot who earns the most FCHG points by My Birthday (April 25) will
receive a PC.

5) I'm looking for someone who wants to earn an ISM by making the squadron
webpage. Email me if you're interested.

6) I've had a series of technical glitches. I've just now restored data. I will be BSFing soon. Don't worry if you don't have a confirmation yet. If you don't have one by Friday, send it to me again.

7) Multi-User-Dungeon: enforcer.raptor.nu, port 4000. Email me if you have
questions.

8) If you have Half-Life and any mapping/texturing experience or a desire to learn, email me. Information at: http://www.cosmicsys.com/hl-as (yes, this is not technically EH-related, but I know many of you have HL.)

9) I'm still looking for new slogans, banner, mottos, etc. for the squadron. Send them in.

10) I'm looking for fiction for my WSRs. Or for the squad website. (See #5)

11) Activity: Jeez. I can't believe this. Like 4 BSFs. Send me pilot files or I will be reccomending rank demotions in my next MSE. I am not kidding. Send me something. I won't AWOL you if you stay in touch, but you need activity to keep ranks. And FLs, you should be setting examples, just as I should.

12) Reading Check: I want to see if I waste my time writing this. If you read this, email me. I will keep track of this.

13) Valkyrie Veteran: New title for top role-model in squadron. Details will come in a seperate email later.
