Welcome Eta pilots and all guests to this weekly report! Without further

FLEET NEWS
==========
*BGCOM Jarak Maldon was promoted to Admiral. Congrats!
*EH Naval Corps will be closed because it is nothing more than a clone
of TC XWA wing. All NC pilots will be transfered to TIE Corps, all
clones will be eliminated.
*EH Images Archive (http://ia.emperorshammer.ca/) has been updated with
backlogged submission. Go and chcek it out.
*XWA TCC's are being sought. Applications go to crix-madine@home.com.
*New competition: Recon Office Webhunt Competition
(http://www.ipgv.org/webhunt.htm). The first 3 pilots get IS with GR, SR
and BR respectively. I am currently 8th with 3 points.
WING NEWS
=========
*Rear Admiral Troutrooper (RATT) has stepped down as Colossus Commodore
and become the new CA:TAC2-TCHC. Congrats to him!!!
*If you haven't already noticed from the strange smell on the bridge our
new COM is Rear Admiral Mell! ;).
*Operation: Cantina Run phase II: Colossus' participation at 78%.
Pi had 63%, Omi had 75%, Mu had 80% and we got 100% (Rety is excused)
Yeah! Now we must wait for the 3rd phase.
*Pi also got a new CMDR - please say hi to MAJ Rand al'Thor!! Welcome to
Colossus!
*LT Alain Dindareanu of Eta is an making adventure game about the

SQUADRON NEWS
=============
*Eta got a new pilot - LCM Night Grue, who came staright from ISD
Challenge, fills in Eta 1-2 spot! Welcome Grue, you're in for a ride!
*Some roster changes: CPT Juve has been promoted to FL of Flight3 and CM
Wap Eal has been transferred to Eta 2-2.
*O:CR phase II. 6 out of 7 Eta pilots submitted for the competition. The
only one who didn't submit was CM Nic Rety, who is on
leave. Now prepare for the O:CR phase III.
*I've finally managed to get moderator status on
etasquadron@yahoogroups.com. The pilot list has been updated and from
now on it's the official mailing list of Eta Squadron. If you have any
problems with it, mail me.
*Next thing is our website. CPT Juve is the webmaster of the project.
Juve, please contact CM AbsV and get some webspace on the
isdcolossus.com. I'll conact you personally to agree the details of the
webpage.
*LCM Night Grue made Eta squadron patch prototypes! They are attached
and for use with your uniforms!

*Squadron Top Gun: This title goes this week to... :drumroll: LCM Night
Grue! He is only a few days in the squadron, but has shown extreme
activity and dedication to the squad, making for example squadron patch.
This must be rewarded!

eyes of CMDR. The person who has most STG titles at the end of the month
is likely to be awarded and/or recommended for promotion in the MSE*!)

CMDR'S CORNER
=============
Second week of my comandeering. I must say that I am pleased so far with
your achievements. I hope that you are also pleased with me as your
Commander.
Top priority next week will be O:CR phase III - flying. I don't have to
tell you that you must fly the competition mission/battle on HARD,
reflying it several times. This will also be a test of skill. If we want
to be the best COL squadron (and WE want to, don't we?) we must put in a
good show.
After the O:CR I will organize some sort of insquad competition
(probably "The Marathon") so I can finally award that Aluminium Star.
Er... Iron Star :P.
