Greetings, I am Commander Strahd, I am pleased to be here and am glad to be serving with such good pilots. A little bit about myself for those of you who may not know me.
I enlisted with the EH a little more than 4 months ago. After completing my training I was assigned to the Aggressor Strike Force in Mantis Squadron on the Vanguard. After about 3 months, I was promoted to FL/LCM. Now I have been granted the opportunity to command my own squadron. I hope I can do as well as your previous Commander and I await any suggestions or comments. You can find me on-line most nights after 10 PM EST and at most comps (Thursday night training, Outerrim Comp and Zone Sunday to name a few).
Now on with business shall we...

11:21 - FA Absolutek [io@absolutek.com]
I am in need of people to create graphics specifically for use in
greeting cards. The kind of graphics i'm looking for should include some sort of
message appropriate for greeting card. Some uses of greeting cards on the EH:GCC
(http://gcc.emperorshammer.ca) could be, but not limited
to:
Since the relative lack of choices for EH:GCC graphics, i'm offering a minimum of an ISM per graphic that is chosen to be posted on the EH:GCC. Please submit any graphic submissions, or ideas for the EH:GCC to FA AbsoluteK.

14:36 - COL Badlands [badlands@isdclements.freeserve.co.uk]
The biggest X-Wing Alliance, single player, fleetwide
competition has ended.
15 squadrons from around the fleet competed for the title of best XWA Squadron and the nice medals that go on offer for the event. Ranger Squadron pulled a stunning victory pulling an early lead then keeping ahead of the pack with the larger squadrons just behind. Through high scores and sheer dedication the squadron have earned the title for the second time.
Can your squadron beat them? Compete next time.

Earlier last week, General Sasquatch, current

past 2 years and more, Sas has proved himself to be one of the most capable and
respected Officers in the TIE Corps, ensuring that those serving under him were
always having fun. For the work and effort he's put into making the Corps a
better place, the General is hereby awarded the Gold Star of the
Empire.
Sorry to you go Sas, but I know you'll be back

Desert
Duel
16:26 - SA Kawolski [absurefire@aol.com]
Once in a great while, a fan film is made of such excellent
quality that it should have its own special section on the TFN website.
Nonetheless, while it looks dumb at first, this is one of the best Fan Films out
there! ...even though it was made by Aussies. >:P
It takes place on Tattooine at the beginning of the Empire Strikes Back when a couple of young curious Jawas stumble upon one of the Empire's Imperial Probe Droids. Combined with nicely done CGI, costumes, filmwork, and storyline (though I feel like I'm watching an "Ewoks" movie sometimes), this film is well worth the 64 MB download it requires!
Make sure you have the latest version of QuickTime or the movie may look a little messed-up.
