FLEET NEWS

ISD Subjugator COM selected
After a selection process that took longer than expected, the new ISD Subjugator COM has been picked: Congratulations to Rear Admiral Jeff 'Tiger' Loruss! Tiger is an experienced Wing Commander, and has a lot to offer the new ship. With this promotion, there are two Wing Commander positions open, for Wings XIX and XX. Applications for both are now being accepted, with the following qualifications/requirements:

You must have been a member of the TIE Corps for at least SIX months.
No HCI Convictions.
You must have a working knowledge of Fleet policies and protocols.
Experience at CMDR level or above.
Extensive use of IRC.
Must be a member of good standing in the Dark Brotherhood.
Applications for either position must be sent to both Vice Admiral Firefox and Rear Admiral Tiger. You must indicate clearly which position you are applying for and applications will be accepted for one week. Failure to follow these simple instructions will result in your email being ignored/deleted/lost.

NO applications for CMDRs are being accepted at the moment. These will be dealt with once the new WCs are in place.

ASP Course is online
The ASP Course is now online. Check it out at www.imperialacademy.org/asp/.

ImperialAcademy.org back up
A couple days ago the server hosting the ImperialAcademy.org domain suffered a massive hardware failure, resulting in one of the hard disks in the server's system to die. This is what caused the "The device is not ready" message that displayed whenever you accessed anything on the domain. The server has been rebuilt and updated to Windows 2000, but in the upgrade, the hosting company has changed a few things. The TO thinks he's covered all the changes. However, if you use the site and notice any error message, copy the error message exactly and email it to him. If you just sent a general "It's not working", you're not really helping the TO. Also, if you get a directory listing coming up instead of a site, please email the TO the site you're trying to access.
