Major Fink stepped down from his Avenger CMDR Position to come back in Tornado Squadron ! Welcome back ! We are now part of the four full squadrons of the Fleet (Tau, Cyclone, Tornado, Alpha)
I will be on leave from Thursday night to Sunday 28th...LCM Corran Horn will be the acting CMDR for the week. Think of the briefing, the most important task you will have is to forward news from WC to FM/FL, and to forward Comp Tfr to WC...and be sure to do an activity report (the longest task with 12 high active members..)
I will update all Order of the Vanguard as soon as I'm back from leave...this service medal is awarded for one year (OA), two years (OA-2E) or three years (OA-1E) of service within the EH.

Squadron League: We have until February 28th to complete the first four CRs, ie fly EH Battle 1,7 , 76 and 26; we've already got more than 5,000,000 points..keep it up...we need to bury them all !

--- TORNADO TAC REPORT ---
How about for the squadron competitions we use some role playing??? :) It would add to the feel of the squadron and the Star Wars universe, and here's what I propose...
1. we don't call it competitions we call it operations
2. I check out the plotline of the battle that is to be flown, and write a cool briefing for the pilots, thus announcing this month's operation. I may even make some pic for it and put it all together online as a STO page.
3. after that we treat it all as a standard compet... when the pilot files come in, I write the debriefing and attach the results.

--- TORNADO OPS REPORT ---
First of all I'd like to thank CPT Striker for giving me this position, and I hope I do a good job....
I've just about finished the Tornado Squadron Operations Office. The OPS Office, will contain artwork, fiction, and news related to competitions within the squadron. It should be up and running by sometime during the weekend. If anyone has any artwork or fiction that they would like putting up on the OPS artwork page that isn't on the Tornado site (I can get artwork that is there myself by downloading it), then mail me with it.
I'm thinking of introducing some type of monthly squadron competition (if it's alright with CPT Striker :) ) concerning artwork or fiction, where squadron members send their entries in, and one will be picked as the story/picture of the month. Contact me if you'd like this to be introduced. Even if it is approved however, it'll have to wait for a while until we've got some of these competitions running at the moment out of the way. I wouldn't want to add to the chaos! :)
Last but not least, LT Jofus mentioned in the latest squadron briefing about the Total Annihilation-Star Wars Conversion; I don't own this game, but if an interest is shown by some of you, then I may buy it as well...mail me if you're interested in this.
