Sorry to make this briefing with three days late...too much beer for me this week ;)
First of all, the Wing Awards !!

Wing Awards....yes I did I say I would wait until the comp was over, but here they are. Which ever squad gets the highest average is the
WC's own and the highest pilot's score wil be award something anyway..a medal probably.
CMDR of the Month: CPT Striker of Tornado. It was a hard choose with 3 CMDRs up for it, but I decided that Striker deserved due to his
hard work and dedication to Tornado. This meant that 3 CMDRs need to improve their performance and that of their squads.
Squadron of the Month: Tornado/Cyclone. I was going to put Typhoon in, but I've seen a big effort by Tad and his group which deserved some recognisation. Tornado got it because they were equal with Typhoon in my books and thats something. Sorry, Mav, but you got last month.
Pilot of the Month: SL Nightwolf of Inferno. This guy is amazing, not only does he do the IWATS course without any prodding, but he
also does the comp (I've got his tfr, Manitsas). I was thinking about him or Maverick, but decided that Nightwolf deserved it more.
Just as a reminder, I will be away until the 6th, but that does not mean anyone can get slack. CMDRs, get some ideas for squadron comps.
Also we should have a wing meeting, hopefully on IRC, where everyone who can turn up turns up. Times and days please state country.
Vader, you don't ask for a medal, you don't even mention it. You just hope to hell your SO gives you one. Also be ready to change the motto. Good pic by the way.
Motto comp, I have recieved three entries. New date, 10th of December all entries in by. Other news, AD Kawolski is going on shoreleave as is RA Pappy (no Pappy, you can't bring your family on for Thanksgiving. Why? Do we have the space for all of the,?). RA Pappy, however, will be keeping on eye on you lot. One note CMDRs, if you're having a lack of communication with your pilots, it might be because they're on holiday with Thanksgiving. Nothing else, Mav I'll contact you about the Wing Training Office when I get back. Also everyone heres an idea, what about a Wing newsletter? Roll it around in your heads, ask your pilots for their thoughts, and let me know.

PROMOTIONS
This week, SL Jofus has been promoted to Lieutenant for his longstanding service for the squadron ! Congratulations ! Also, LT Wet Willy has been promoted to Flight II Leader as CM Thrax requested to be moved down to FM Postion.
ISD CHALLENGE NEWS
-Wing Commander MAJ Torres will be on leave until December 6th
-November Wing Awards: you just read them...I would like to congratulate everybody in the squadron for their dedication and devotion for Tornado. The Squadron of the Month is a collective award, and we would not have got it without everybody at work. Keep it up ! Stay alive and active, let's show everybody the power of the tornado !! I'm proud of you ;)

-The EH Newsletter #47 has been posted !! You can download it on the EH Domain, Newsletter Archives Section.
-IO/FA Gilkane has suddenly resigned ! GA Ronin is looking for a new IO.
COMPS
-November Wing X TIE Comp; (EH Battle 63) four entries (LT Wet Willy, LT Jofus, SL Veers, CPT Striker).The deadline is December, 7th. LCM Dave and SL Corran Horn, still TIE problems ?
-The AHG Motto Contest is still on; the deadline is December 10th. Send me your entries before time is up.(3 entries for Tornado for now) That has to do something with storms or natural disasters.
-INPR Comp: ISM for the best pilot bio (deadline December 7th). Two entries from LT Wet Willy and SL Corran Horn. both very good...I will
probably forward the entries to the Challenge Command Staff for the decision.
-There may be a ISD Challenge vs SSD Avenger Comp soon when the Wing Comp will be over. There will be also an inner squadron comp on TIE and XvT (when I finish to learn about XvT Mission Making/Translating...)
-What about a run-on story ? It could be a Wing Run-on also...;)
BATTLE BOARD
LT Wet Willy has just completed SEVEN new battles !! Impressive ! (Please re-send me your TFR file for Battle 27, corrupted). So I would
like to officially recommend him for a Commendation of Bravery (don't know if it is still awarded ?)
From the Training Manual:
Commendation of Bravery (CoB) - The CoB can be awarded by the Fleet Commander to a Member who has shown consistent diligence in the completion of Emperor's Hammer Battles and Missions. This Commendation is generally awarded after a Member completes 6 EH approved Battles.
IWATS
SL Veers passed the IWATS Core this week ! Congratulations !
So everybody has passed the IWATS Core or the old IWATS exam (CM Thrax, I guess you pass the old one ??). Keep in mind that you will get IWATS Certification (IWATS on ID-Line) when you will have completed the Core and two others courses. Try the mIRC course...if everybody could pass this one too, that would be good.IRC is a very good chat system, and there is a weekly EH Meeting on IRC...and there could be a Wing and Squadron one if you all learn how it works...have a look...
DARK BROTHERHOOD
The Dark Brotherhood Forces are currently on the way home...the Deepstrike Operation was a success...results soon.
COMMS
IRC: I assist every week at the EH Meetings on ##Emperor's_Hammer, on Undernet, at 1200 GMT-5 (US Est Coast Time). Come ! it is always a good way to learn new events, meeting people...I could set up an IRC briefing if there are enough people at this time. I may not be there this week because of RL duties...
COMMA: the position still exist ?? No news from the COMM Officer...
