Ok. Settle down Crusaders. Your commander has an important message:
Todays topic is History of Crusader Squadron (since Jan 00)
I joined EH Tie Coprs 17th January 00 as CT Marcin Szydlowski/Bravo Company
After 2 or 3 days i finished training and selected ISD Grey Wolf in my assignment request form
I've been assigned to Crusader Squadron, Flight 3. Flight was under command of LCM Ya-qoob. Squadron Commander was Satai Dukat.
Soon after my arrival, Ya-qoob contacted me. He explained me few things. I completed few missions and received my first ISM.
Next 2 or 3 moths i was inactive.
Then i decided to become good pilot. I completed all XvT mission and started with Free Ties.
In February or March, New Pilot joined Crusader replacing Dukat on CMDRs position. Meantime crusader had 0 citations. Dragoon was impossible FCHG goal.
In April BGCOM Priyum announced new ASF wide competition. 1st so big competition. Without MP flying and internet connection i was unable to win. Brucmack won thanks to his MP LoCs, i was 5th, Crusader finished 2nd after Vortex under command of CM Vitcarp.
During ASF SC I, SL Wiesio joined Crusader. Thanks to him we finished 2nd not 3rd.
Few months passed. Jonny Sawicki and DrDiablo joined.
During summer, CM Brucmack stepped down. I became FL and Ya-qoob took CMDR. I've shown Crusaders they way. Encouraged them to fly MP. We had WC's Own two time in a row. We had 4 citations.
During one of weeks Ya-qoob was on leave. I took ACMDR. Crusader made 8 citations in one week. Ya-qoob returned and awarded me rank of CMDR. I was at about 800 FCHG or so.
Brucmack returned. I stayed as FL/CM, Ya-qoob took FM. We created polish power.
Durning October i tried to push Brucmack. I wanted him to be stronger and force Crusader to be more acitive. Soon after that, WC Vitcarp tried to send me to HCI. He failed. Brucmack, Foley, Drakkar, Xeno and many more left squad. I took command. I, Diablo, Wiesio, Drako, Jonny, Ya-qoob and Tron left squad.
Soon after that Crusader jumped to 23 citations. I passed 1300 FCHG. I set goals for Crusader: "Our way or highway."
New pilots joined. Marcin K and Derek Dan. They started flying.
We jumped to 30 citations.
Then we faced Odin squadron and won without doubt. Odin CMDR left.
We passed about 50 citations.
New pilots joined Crusader in 2001. Michael, Balrog and finnaly Thomaas. We jumped to 76 citations. Over 6000 total FCHG.
What's next? I don't know. 100 citations soon. 200 citations and we'll all get good medals. I promise. If not, we'll start looking for better place to leave. But, right now i am proud leader of my Death Riders.

Fiction:
LOST DEVELOPMENT II by LT Tomaas Banys
The schematics were impressive. Wolfmaster realized that he was no engineer,
but he considered himself a capable mechanic and began to wonder on
upgrading his ion capacitors when the alert began its chant. They were
pulled out of hyperspace... to face a remarkable republic fleet indeed.
Wolfmaster would have went after them immediately, if only he knew how to
approach the big one. He quickly realized that he knew the shape, but...
what once was supposed to be an Abyss-class star destroyer, 4 kilometers
long, was now a dragon. The computer locked up on over 2000 turrets and
weapon emplacements... only to halt down. Too many targets.
"Incoming! Break formation and attack!" ordered Drako. His modular
Interceptor was already bruised a bit by some rebel gravitational mines. The
rebels were well prepared. Soon, all of the TIE Interceptors were disabled
and over 2 wings of various rebel starfighters were chasing Tomaas. He did
not see what bolt hit him, but the circuitry went out. With a last panel
ionized, the communications were dead. ATRs began to approach.
Meanwhile, RA Woobee entered the Crusaders' briefing room. MAJ Szydlowski
was talking to COL Matir and a group of Crusader pilots formed near the
display. They watched previously gathered telemetric data from the distant
rebel world of Fegg where a prison facility holding pilots was located. They
were going there as soon as Drako and his specops flight would return.
LT Wolfmaster awoke in a interrogation chamber. "Great." he thought as he
noticed 4 republic guardsmen 'round him. He felt strange. He realized that
somebody has injected him a neural "helper" as the interrogating officers
liked to call it. Great again.
"Attention! Captain on the deck!" - the door slid open and the rebel ship
commander entered the chamber. The guardsmen saluted.
"Hello there, imp. We nailed you, didn't we?" - the captain was happy and
Wolfmaster knew why. He didn't share that feeling. He was trying to think up
something, but his eyes were closing and he almost went asleep in front of
the rebel officer. A punch in his guts neutralized the effects for some
time. Wolfmaster tried to remember the guy who puched him but his eyes went
out of control and denied adjusting to the man's face.
"Who are you, imp?" - the captain asked with a hard voice.
"Banys, Tomaas A.J... 1st lieutenant, service number EHTC5660."
"What unit do you serve in?"
No response.
"What unit do you serve in?" A punch in the face.
No response.
"What unit do you serve in?" A kick in the rear. The captain was quite a
fighter, he must've been a commando before he got to command the behemoth.
"In a loyal one. Now stop asking me stupid questions, rebel."
"What unit do you serve in?"
Vulcan pulled back on the throttle and his Clutch danced 'round the
corvette. Yes, Wolfmaster taught him this one well. He began to wonder where
is his friend right now. He hadn't heard nothing from him for a few months
now. Rumours spreaded that he joined the Emperor's Hammer and Vulcan
believed it, Wolfmaster was the kind of man they could make use of. It left
the pirates with no choice, but giving Vulcan command of their Clutch
squadron. And he began to become a wealthy man. Suddenly, a beep came down
from the comm array downleft.
"Yes, Clutch 1 reporting in."
"Vulcan? This is Coerdesh. We sliced a new system. It belongs to NR
military. Even now, files circle from one place to another and we have
everything being copied. And besides... oh my god!" Silence and sounds of
disbelief took the channel. "We located Wolfmaster. He is being held hostage
on the rebel Abyss Interdictor! It is complete and they nailed Wolfie and
few of his EH friends."
Vulcan opened a channel to the pirate big boss.
And many, many klicks away RA Woobee began to shout at MAJ Szydlowski.
"Where are they? They were supposed to be back from their leaves 8 hours
ago!" The admiral cared for his people, but tried not to show it.
"Sir, I don't know. But let's give them some more time." the Crusader
commander replied. He was even more worried...
"Now, listen you guys. We're going in to save the EH pilots. It will have to
be a sharp one guys. Coerdesh will explain."
"Thanks Vulc. Our problem is that they have too many ships there to launch
an attack against them, so this will be a full covert. We have broken one of
their files and have a beacon identifying us as smugglers helping the
Alliance. We will install the appriopriate key so our manifest will be in
order for their security. Also, we will have to sabotage our ships to look
heavily battered. The YT-1300 we captured in our last big operation would do
great. After the rescue team exits athmosphere, we will damage the
hyperdrive and we will ask them if they won't let us in for repairs. They
will. We have detailed info on the detention block, so we will just sneak in
and out after the hyperdrive is repaired. This will require our commando to
be in constant touch with the pilot. Vulcan has agreed to pilot the
freighter while I will lead a detachment of the best of you into flames of
action. That is all."
MAJ Szydlowski ordered another glass of the liquor. He was pissed off and
really worried. He should be able to do something more than just sit here...
yes, that's it, he thought. He rushed towards his gunboat. He didn't perform
a standard check, just went through the opening hangar door.
Soon after it, the rest of the Crusaders joined their commander. Many recon
missions have just begun.
"Hailing AIC Baroness, this is Wyyla Federation pilot Vulcan aboard
freighter Jane, we have a leak in our reactor and a serious hyperdrive
malfunction. Please let us dock in your hangar to perform neccessary
repairs. We can trade a bit. We shall leave when we're done here."
Vulcan sent the clearance code, hoping it would prove ok. A response came
faster than he thought.
"Clearance granted, Jane. How did you find us here?"
"Well, we were just dropped out of lightspeed near you. Thank gods we met
you, not an imperial patrol!" Vulcan tried to sound a lil' bit like a
reservist.
The ship entered hangar.
Commander Drako hit the guard in the ugly face but he was knocked down
immediately by the other men. He could only watch as they torture Balrog.
The pilot fell down and was released. Next was supposed to be Michael when
the door suddenly opened and a storm of blaster fire covered the guards,
killing them. None of the bolts hit any of the Crusaders.
"Coerdesh, nice to see you lad!" Wolfmaster tried to sound tough, but it was
no use without few teeth. Meanwhile, Drako and Michael stood up and rushed
to Balrog's body. Balrog was knocked out, but alive. Two pirates took Balrog
gently and began to carry him. The men left the room and began to move
towards the main hangar. They saw the Jane and Wolfmaster sighed with
relief. "We're almost safe..."
The alert began to ring. Drako looked at Tomaas and smiled. "And maybe not?"
Anyways, the Crusaders and the pirates continued to approach the freighter
and soon were in the hangar. But they weren't very happy to see soldiers
rushing in their direction. Few of them approached the group.
"Get out of here! We're under attack! No admittance in the hangar now." and
they were gone. Wolfmaster laughed. "Yeah, Drako, we just have to get outa
here fast. We must carry out that order immediately."
They boarded the transport.
LCM Panaka fired all his torpedoes in the direction of the mysterious
capship. He plotted a special course for them - he targeted the hangar. It
would hopefully get destroyed, and maybe the rebels taking off as well.
Vulcan rolled left and the torpedoes got past Jane. All but one. The
battered ship lost his shields and one of the arrays exploded. But the ship
slid in space. Unfortunately, the Crusaders' fighters were also destroyed.
On the other hand, rebels had no fighters but the combat patrols which were
probably taken out a while ago. He wondered what next. He saw few imperial
fighters attacking the ship.
"Vulcan, open a wide comm to them."
"Yes, here it goes."
"This is lieutenant Wolfmaster of the Emperor's Hammer. Any loyal imperial
forces, respond."
"Tomaas! This is your favourite squadron commander. Transmitting you the
entrance vector. Over and out."
"Roger that. Vulcan, jump."
The YT-1300 entered lightspeed. The rest of the Crusaders were about to
finish off the mighty capship when it just jumped in hyperspace as well.
With such a situation, Mike ordered heading home.
Much later, Drako and the rest of ex-prisoners were being shouted at by
Mike. "You shouldn't have done it! You should have kept out of their
territory! You... I order you to get your asses out of here and visit the
bar. We will finish the conversation later."
RA Woobee signed the orders and put the pad away. "So who is responsible for
this?" he asked with eyes pointed straight at Wolfmaster.
"I am sir." the lieutenant replied.
"Is that all you think you have to explain to me? Well then, I will see that
you will be punished in the way you'll long remember."
Wolfmaster thought of a neat platoon of Fist's troops killing him.
"We will speak again, and until that happens, celebrate your new medal."
The lieutenant coudn't believe his ears. "Excuse me sir, a medal?"
"Yes. You earned the ISM for that action. Now, don't waste my precious time
and get yourself out of here, lieutenant."
"I see, sir. Thank you. And... feel free to enter my quarters when you'll be
passing by. I have a good ale reserved for you."
"Ah, I see. So a contraband, ain't it? We'll see about it lieutenant."
Wolfmaster saluted and he was gone. He hoped he will not have to borrow
fighters from the Odin complement.

We had a good week last week in terms of citations, and we can expect lots
more. With the new citations comp, I will be issuing 5 battles here. The way
I will work it is you can fly these battles anytime you like as long as you
fly one a week. This gives everyone particpation in the comp. If and when
you fly those 5 battles, let me know and I will issue another 5 and so on.
Some of you will be flying battles where we only need one citation, some two
and so on depending on if you have previously flown the battle or not. No
one is being disadvantaged as if all the battles are flown by everyone, then
